I booked an oceanfront room, but when I arrived, I was taken to a small building in the hotel parking lot. The room was disappointing and had a view of a run-down marina, not the ocean as I expected. The place was in bad shape and there was a constant loud noise coming from the air conditioning or some other machinery. It certainly did not feel like a $480 room.

The experience was great for the most part. 99% of the staff was great; the reception area assisted me with printouts and deliveries. Janet and the Birthday Boy in the lobby bar were great, and we had a great time with Bryant (our fellow classic rock fan), Omar, and Will. Food was good. Only complaint was our room cleaner. Never showed up the first full day, so we had to request towel sets (which were promptly delivered). The room cleaner was across the hall when my husband went up to get something from in the room and saw him leave, so she knew the room was ready for cleaning. Not sure if she vacuumed, and when I went in to take a shower last night, there were long hairs in there that were definitely not my husband's, who showered before me, so I question if she actually cleaned. We also didn't get fresh facecloths a second time, requested them at the front desk and still never got them. TV was always off, and Do Not Disturb sign was never on the doorknob.

The room itself was decent. We had a leak in our ceiling and reported it 3 times. They never sent anyone but did comp our resort fee. We were only staying 2 nights so we just dealt with it. The location of the hotel was excellent. There is a private walkway to the beach and a market and outdoor food court with multiple options right outside the property. It was easy to grab a quick meal, drink or supplies. Would stay here again.

Like this hotel, but: - Since I’ve been coming for the past ten years, at lest I expect some special attentions, like an early check in, late check out, et. - Some days it’s almost 4:00 pm hasen’t been cleaned. Many times I leave my room very early to the beach and when I came back the only thing I wanted was a clean and fresh room to take a shower and rest, but that was always impposible. - Some spaces of the hotel are not so clean as well, like common restrooms or halls. In this two last aspects one can notice lack of staff.

The elevators are simply in adequate I spent more time waiting for them and on them Then I stayed there they are so inconvenient I wouldn’t stay again And the stairs were not a option due to once your in the stairwell you can re enter the building
