A Horrible Experience

This was one of the worst hotel rooms we’ve ever experienced. The pictures online were a misread the actual room. Plus, it was way overpriced. There were bugs visible, and the room had a horrible smell. I probably will never utilize Hotels.com again. The only positive was the nice young man that checked us in. He was very nice.

Poop on towels

Dirty due to FEMA people staying there. When i got out of the shower to dry off my towel had poop on it. Not happy at all. Told the front office all they said was we will talk with the attendant. That was poop not just a dirty towel I almost wiped my face with.

One of the most over-priced, terrible places I have ever stayed. They couldn't even get our room key to work, so my husband and I were not able to leave the room at the same time. There was a plastic tote of someone else's stuff being stored under the sink counter (toothbrush, personal care items, etc). Unbelievably bad for what we had to pay. Wallpaper from the 80s and furnishings from a second hand store.

The staff was very friendly. No elevator to get to the second floor, had to use outside stairways. Outside hallways were dark. The room surfaces and bathroom were fairly clean but the floor was quite dirty. One towel, though probably laundered, was so stained it shouldn’t have been put in a room for customer use. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable if you like a firmer mattress. The walls were very thin so the talking and televisions in adjoining rooms was loud. Also, people were on the outside balcony talking which was also loud in the room.

Not bad for the price and the area

The bed was comfortable. AC nice and cold since it was a hot and humid 85 in FL in February. Check in and out was easy. Only complaint was that we didn’t have towels upon check-in. When I asked housekeeping in the breezeway for some they said they couldn’t give them out yet because they didn’t give those out at beginning of shift. I had to leave before they came back with the towels and I left a note that the remote wouldn’t changes channels at all. When we got back to the room, they had done nothing to remedy that situation. So we were only able to watch one channel the whole stay.
