Never again.
I can only write about our two night's stay in Room 1. The office was unattended at 2.30 pm, rang the number on the office door and was told the key was in the door. Our room was next to a covered area where the other guests (workers) gathered for a drink and smoke at the end of their day. Also the laundry trolly's were stored permanently outside our door as the store room was next door. The room was tiny with an equally small shower that had a plastic curtain hanging from a very, very rusted curtain railing. There was a used shampoo bottle in the shower over looked by the cleaning staff.
We also had to fix the toilet to stop the water that was continuously leaking from the cistern. If we hadn't prepaid for our two night's accommodation we would have left. The best thing to do with room 1 would be to pull out the bed and use it as a storeroom. This was our second stop in a three week drive around holiday and was far and away the worst accommodation we had in that time. Needless to say we would NEVER recommend the Ben Hall Motor inn. Forbes in itself is a lovely town just stay elsewere.
