Get what you pay for

Took my son to a Pacers game and got this hotel about 20 min from the arena. Location seemed fine - business type area. The whole 2nd floor had a pretty strong odor, and very much so in the room. The door deadbolt didn’t completely latch (the lever lock worked fine and so did the key card). TV remote was kind of sticky, and when the water was first turned on, rust from the hot water heater cycled through for a few seconds. The pool was great, breakfast was fine, and staff seemed friendly. Felt a little like a needed another shower after leaving, and some things seemed to lack attention to detail, but some of that is expected when you pay $30 less per night as some comparable rooms. It was fine for an overnight stay in which we didn’t spend tons of time in…just wouldn’t want to spend a week there with the whole family.

the facility was nice. staff was friendly. i didnt realize that there wasnt an elevator which was inconvenient for carrying luggage but a staff member noticed and helped us carry it up the stairs. room was nice for the price and very large but considering the layout and size, there should be a much larger tv with a swivel mount. the room we were in had a leak in the ceiling. i thought it was repaired but there was an active leak onto slick tile. i addressed with staff and they said they believe it to be condensation from the pool. there were limited items in the vending machine but it is right around the block from a gas station
