Not a pleasant experience
Swipe card did not work because the receptionist checked us out and not in, got to the room dead tired after a long drive only to have to go back downstairs to fix the issue. Second time this has happened. Ridiculous! Bathroom counter was dirty with something sticky, noisy next door, room next door was trying to open adjoining door, bed and pillows were uncomfortable, worst part was allergies and headache associated with being in a room where someone before us was smoking. Air cleaner did not work. Very annoyed. Worst stay at this hotel in all the years we have been coming here. Sad really!

I still recommend… typically 5 stars ✨
I stay here all the time, service wasn’t up to par. Usually 5star plus for everything. It was a little off this stay. I’ve always brought my 5lb yorkie and loved that this hotel is dog friendly… it’s changed its policy to only service dogs. I think a better solution would be not dogs over 15-20lbs. I visit a few times a year with my daughter and stay minimum 3 nights. I hope you consider adjusting your dog policy. I also hope staff and service were just having and off few days and will return to it’s usual top rating. If management is interested in knowing service issues, you may reach out.

Nice holiday getaway
This hotel is super nice and very classy. It’s fairly old but has been completely renovated. Rooms are spacious, clean with very nice furniture. Comfortable bed, high quality bedding and linens. Indoor pool and hotub very nice, loads of clean fluffy towels. Reception desk very pleasant attendants, polite, courteous and happy to answer questions and help with general information. Ample free parking. Grounds are magnificent overlooking St-Laurence river. A nice touch for the holiday period, the Christmas decorations are really beautiful which conveys a cosy feeling. Shops and restaurants are numerous and closeby, about 10 minutes by car. I will definitely stay there again.

Best Hotel
This is the best hotel I have stayed at tbh. I look forward to my regular visits. Rooms are comfortable, clean and feel like home. Beds are insanely cozy. In room nespresso machine is brilliant. Dog friendly enables me to travel confidently with my yorkie. Restaurant is delicious. Pool is perfect temp.
