Generally very good & convenient but my room had no hot water for the two night stay, either in the shower or wash basin - at the absolute best it was nearly lukewarm a couple of times. Mentioned to reception staff for info only, I wasn’t expecting a repair & an alternative room wasn’t available.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. The rooms are smallish but you get everything you need, although maybe an in room kettle would be useful. The shower was always warm and a good pressure on the water. The bed was very comfortable. Our room (239) was on the second floor towards the rear of the hotel so was a very quiet room. The food at breakfast was really nice and plenty of it, so felt good value. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is a great location for exploring Ghent being a 5 minute or so walk from the Cathedral, Belfry etc. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel room was a little small. However, it provided much convenience with a super comfortable bed. Would have liked to stay longer just for that alone. Upon request a hot water pot was included. Ibis continues to be consistent with qualify lodging.A great hotel in a good location.

Great hotel in the centre of Ghent. Just right for our three day stay. Conveniently located and has a car park (beware hotel is in ulez zone so make proper enquiries before driving to it) hotel bar was nice and reasonably priced. Room was comfortable. My only gripe was that the bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever had. I’m not a huge guy and only just fit in. Overall recommended.

Nice stay in IBIS Ghent Centrum
On the whole it was a nice stay. Staff is super friendly. Room does not have electric kettle but a nice small functional tv was there. Usually electric kettle and tea making facilities are there in most of the budget hotels in Europe. Location is excellent and closer to the places of interest in Ghent. Accessible by public transport Team T1 from Ghent Railway station. Buffer Breakfast had good servings and sumptuous.

Try the other one.
Stayed in Ghent for a couple nights, this hotel is an in between walk to the train station and downtown. I should have booked the other ibis. Have a feeling it is in better shape. Very run down, super small bathroom and bedroom. Other guests garbage was left in the bin. Kinda gross.
