Not the cleanest
There was hair throughout the room. The room was outdated and could’ve been cleaner.

Nice but don't bet on breakfast
Everything was great, very nice accommodations. Except, the "Bistro Breakfast" was not well explained or signed. I went to the lobby in the morning to see about 10 muffins sitting on a sad little tray and an empty coffee pot. Went back to my room too tell my hubby. When he went to the lobby, he saw the same arrangement, people sitting at tables waiting for food, no signage apparent. One employee was taking an order over the counter, then put out a placard starting which menu items could be ordered at no cost to hotel guests.
I assume this arrangement works better for the hotel and wastes less time and money than a typical continental breakfast, but guests need to be informed about this procedure and employees should be present to meet the breakfast needs of the guests

Perfectly acceptable place to stay. Decent walking distance to restaurants, and the water front. Clean and comfortable. The shower was an ADA entry, so the bathroom floor got pretty wet. Not really a big deal, they supplied plenty of towels.

Great stay in Norfolk
We had tickets to a comedian and chose this hotel because of the location to attractions. Everyone was helpful and friendly from the time we checked in to the time we got coffee. The bed was huge and comfy and the room was spacious. I would recommend if you're in Norfolk.

Disappointing
I booked this hotel mostly for the hot tub. When I arrived, I learned it was down and that the pool would be ice cold. I was told I could use the facilities at a sister property, but theirs was down too.
The bed was not comfortable. The shower and tub were old and had mildew/mold.

Avoid!
Rude check in and check out. Breakfast stated til 10 but ended at 9, so we missed breakfast by 5 minutes. Hair in shower and bathroom was gross.
Requested 2 queen beds gave us a king and was ride when asked to accomodate. Also had valet parking was good at checkin when leaving valet was confused, smelled like Marijuana (think he was high) and ended up getting our own vehicle. Paid for valet parking had to get our own car.

Friendly staff however rooms are old and outdated
Great location downtown Norfolk. Priced cheaper than surrounding hotels at $139 per night but not worth it.
Staff including valet, restaurant and front desk were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is outdated throughout-from lobby, to elevators, rooms and bathrooms. ALL need to be updated. Our room was clean but smelled like "baby diapers". Television was extremely small, curtains and carpet were very worn. Very noisey. Our sleep was continuously interrupted by hallway noise and we could hear loud HVAC system and doors to other rooms slam all night. I would not recommend staying here.

The staff was excellent. However, my 1st room smelled like sewage and then my 2nd room smelled like they just sprayed some sort of bug spray. Found a flea in the room. The room was not extremely bad.The view was awesome. The hotel was great for what we had to accomplish at the last minutue.
