Good stay, not the friendliest check in
I thought the place we cute and clean. The guy working the front desk with dark curly hair/beard was not very friendly. He got sassy to us when checking in when asking questions about the property. He also is a huge stickler one who can have access to the gym as we heard him turn away like 3 people. Everything was great besides that, kind of made me want to avoid the gym area.

The condo I was in was great. Only thing missing was something to keep toiletries in the shower. There was a suction caddy in the drawer but the suction doesn’t work. A ledge of some kind would’ve been great. I had to put my toiletries on the floor or the sink counter. Other than that it was a comfortable stay. Warning to all travelers. I was supposed to be on the first floor but I climbed 3 flights of stairs. There’s no elevator. Just keep that in mind esp when shopping for groceries. I’m a hiker so it wasn’t a problem for me. But I wouldn’t buy a big bulk of water etc and climb up those steps.

East Vail Getaway
We went for an overnight stay up to Vail late fall. The Vail Racquet Club was a nice chalet style condo up in East Vail. It was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood setting. The property itself was a bit older but had character. We checked into a condo that was older and were disappointed that it was outdated and not even close to what the hotels.com photo looked like. However, the front clerk, Banning upgraded our reservation to a more suitable room. We were able to hike one our favorite hikes in East Vail about 10 minutes away, The Pitkin Trail. It was a pleasureable stay!
