8/10 Very good

Nice hotel, needs a little updating
Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check in and nice breakfast. Managed to get a space in the hotel car park and paid extra to leave there for the following day at reasonable rates. Very handy location for Bristol Uni and the city centre. The room could have done with a little updating, the bathroom was very dated and the radiator control had broken off so couldn't be turned down. The power sockets next to the kettle were too low down to allow the kettle to be plugged in because of the moulded plug so had to use a socket by the bed, and the TV remote didn't work. All minor things really but a little frustrating.

Horrible stay
Horrible Horrible stay. Customer service very horrible, no smiles on their faces, except for one of the receptionist (girl) who works in the morning. She was nice. The night receptionist (male) (Asian) was horrible, very disrespectful and arrogant. And he wasn’t ready to solve any customers needs. Fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, two nights in a role The rooms were really small, breakfast is partially a buffet and the served part of the breakfast takes more than 30mins to come. The some part of the rooms are dirty and dusty.

2/10 Poor

Woeful, just woeful
Dated doesn't cover how terrible this place is. No lights in the carpark or at the entrance from it and i nearly broke my neck trying to get in never mond the rat i saw. The place is falling apart and quite literally with the staircase to the top floor comimg away from the wall, should be condemned. Felt unsafe and unsecure. Ensuite extremely small, yellow, cracked sink, missing tap covers, dust and fluff on the toilet roll holders, carpet disgusting, light flicked when i plugged in my phone charger, door barely closed, blackput curtains were great but poorly fitted so a bright aurora around the whole thing. Breakfast was good but very small, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 small hashbrown, 1 bacon. Only good thing was the receptionist, very helpful.

Overal stay
Thank you Natosha for spotless clineliness and Mark for booking us in and and answering all my questions! Breakfast service very attentive and helpful, food and choices good for the proposed standard. Only washington's receptionist let rhe standards of friendliness down but luckily we didnt have to have much interactions with the lady.

👎
Just a old hotel. Serice is not good at all, took my card details for any damage in room, it never happened before, small box room with single bed and took £58 and that too is in bad condition. And the worse thing is said parking available when booking but when i arrived i have to park in the street. You have to book for the breakfast timing first. So bad experience, I wont recommend this to anyone
