Arctic survival training needed
We arrived at the hotel too be told that are room would not be ready till 4pm, big hotel but no rooms ready. Finall get our room only to find that the thermostat does not work and it’s-25f outside and about +10f in the room. The attendant told us that the hotel is old and no upgrades are being made, but he could supply a small heater to try to make the room bearable. It’s a good thing the bed has a warm comforter on it or I we would have been found frozen. This hotel is in Northern USA in North Dakota, no plug ins for your car when the temps go below -25f. The night we stayed the temperature was -27f with a windchill of -43f. The eating area and lounging are is a park like setting but it’s as cold as our room. I would look for a better hotel to stay in.
