Great service from Sokratis and his family. Would definitely recommend this hotel, the kindness and hospitality is so genuine. Each morning fresh bakeries hand made by Sokratis mum was provided, you can choose your hours of room service clean. The walk to Fira is 25mins walk to local shops and main town, easy navigation as signs everywhere and your phone satnav helps. Lovely hotel and the best personal service.

Best Stay in Greece

First time visiting Greece. What an amazing experience to celebrate our sons wedding on this property. The views are spectacular, the property is gorgeous and the hosts are top notch. They were very attentive and went out of their way to make our sons experience special. From the moment we arrived Sokratis and his sister did everything they could to made sure we had a pleasant stay. The greeted us with a bottle of local wine and fresh made pastries. They provided us with their personal number for anything we may need. They helped us get a reservation at a winery and arrange taxis (one company tried charging us 70 EUR and they arranged a taxi for 45). We chose not to get a car but would recommend as the major towns are 15 min hilly walk with no sidewalks. The property itself was amazing. They do not have caldera views but the view of the island, private pool, spacious and beautiful rooms (we stayed in the cactus sweet) with private bathrooms more than makes up for it. I highly encourage everyone to stay here.

The property is gorgeous, very quiet and well located, although you’ll need a car or an ATV to go to the village. It’s not far from the restaurants but you cannot really walk on the road, there is no sidewalks and the cars drive fast. Sokratis and his sister were so welcoming and helpful. Sokratis gave us many tips upon our arrival and helped us book some restaurants throughout our stay on the island. I highly recommend this accommodation.

El Verano Suites was a very relaxing retreat. The host Socrates and Thira made everything easy for guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The patio area and private pool with the view makes the entire space an indoor and outdoor experience. It takes about a 15 minute walk to get around whether it’s to Thira or the local market so that’s something to consider. Other than that, my friends and I loved our stay at El Verano.

Brother and Sister hosts at this property take care of every last detail. The property is stunning and a quiet retreat from the bustling villages. On arrival we were welcome with homemade wine and help with our luggage. The hosts helped us arrange an affordable rental vehicle delivered right to the property and assisted us with navigating the island. They were either onsite or just a phone call away and responded immediately. Our suite was cleaned daily and included all the amenities we needed and more. Each morning the staff replenished our ample breakfast supplies including fresh eggs. The hosts also treated us to fresh garden produce and sweets made by the hosts mother. We had an amazing stay here and would recommend this property to everyone.

The property exceeded our expectations. The location was close enough to all the attractions but away from the crowds of Santorini. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at El Verano Suites. We had a fabulous view of the sea from our beautiful patio with a hot tub. The property is extremely well maintained and clean. The managers Sokratis and his sister Theano are on the property every day and were the most gracious hosts! They arranged for a private shuttle for us from the port, as I requested. They personally welcomed us on our arrival and spent time with us to explain about the island and make recommendations. Theano brought us fresh home made cookies every morning! To top it all off, Sokratis went above and beyond everything that any tourist could expect when he coordinated the shipment and personally picked up our passports from the port that we left behind in Mykonos! I would give El Verano Suites, Sokratis and Theano my highest recommendation!
