Stayed for one night after a trip to King's Dominion. Only a short drive from the park to this hotel. Stay was great, everything was very comfortable. My only gripe is that the room is starting to show its age a bit (older TVs, shower needing a paint job, etc.) Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the jetted tub and the spacious suite!

Prior to my May 2025 visit, I last stayed here I believe in 2019, and not much has changed. The hotel was great overall and I would stay again and recommend to others. When I arrived, staff was sitting, charging their phone, and I saw this a few more times when coming in during my 2 night stay. I was quickly checked in however and had room 410. There were events nearby, thus quite a bit of police activity, and entrance from other side of road was coned off, so I had to make a U-turn to enter when I first arrived. I had the premium king suite with the jetted tub, which filled quickly, worked well, and was very relaxing after visits to Kings Dominion (10 mins away) and Busch Gardens (an hour away). Loved that the king bed had 5 pillows, was comfortable, and the suite itself was very large and comfortable. Plenty of space! The rainfall shower was nice and had VERY strong water pressure! I did not like that breakfast ends so early, at 9am, so I had to get up early to eat. They did have a good selection of items though, including eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurts, etc. I would definitely stay again, I recommend this hotel to others, and hope to visit again when in the area again some day! For food, I got Q BBQ which was excellent in Glen Allen, and dined at Marco's Italian Restaurant in Ashland, both were excellent!

Having the "living room" area before the bedroom was nice and kept the noise from the hallway down to a minimum. Breakfast each morning was hot and ready and wasn't the same thing each day. The pool area was nice but HIGHLY chlorinated, to the point where when we were in the hot tub it was burning our eyes. Neither of us count connect to the hotels wifi, when I asked at the desk I was told that it was because I had an Android phone, this is a known issue for the hotel and nobody there knew how to fix it. Bigger issue was parking. 2 hotels shared a lot so parking was at a premium

Very convenient place for a quick stopover

This was a last-minute one-night booking, and it served me quite well. I didn't quite figure out the details of things such as how the thermostat worked, but I'm sure I would have if I had stayed longer. Guests should note the isolated location. Although the property is next to an interstate, it is not near an interchange, and one has to snake through poorly lit local roads for nearly a mile to get there. There is virtually no shopping or dining in the immediate area,

The room was OK however, there was a plug missing from the toilet seat cover, the shower door did not close properly, and the door into the bathroom was hung in such a way that it scraped the floor and made a heck of a lot of noise when you opened and closed it.

The hotels cleanliness was average. Nothing terrible. The room smelled stale like someone smoked in it. The tub floor was scratched, wood laminant on the bathroom door was peeling off, and the AC would not turn off. Not an experience that makes me want to book again.

Great stay

The hotel is really good and comfortable. After a 12 hour drive it was good to relax on the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy. Nothing to fancy but top notch for the price of the stay. Check in and check out was easy and smooth
