Very new motel but the room is not dark at night
Lovely apartment as we had an upgrade. The rooms are accessed from an outside at ground level or a metal balcony on the first. There was a lift. However, as they do night gazing they kept the external lights on all night and there were no blinds or curtains on the widows facing the entrance doors, so the rooms aren’t dark at night. This led to a disturbed night for me as I kept waking up think it was morning. You should be able to have a dark bedroom. It was in a nice location which was a short walk to the main area. It is on next to the main road so there was noise from the traffic.

Only stayed a few nights, but the room was very nice and comfortable with a great view of Lake Tekapo. I had very busy days while in Lake Tekapo so I only slept in the room; which is a shame because the room would be perfect for spending time relaxing in.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by Lake Tekapo. We had a fantastic view from our room and I just spent every opportunity sitting by the balcony and staring out to the lake. Room was very spacious and had everything you needed. Staff were helpful and friendly and they provide several recommendations for things to do and see if the area. We were even able to use the coin laundry for guests which was super convenient timing for our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you plan to stay for a few days.

The Executive Studio was spacious, clean and in a new condition, and had all the kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook your own food. Parking space was easy to find. The reception staff was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about attractions in the area and nearby. She also stayed a little longer after the office hours to process our check-in as we arrived after the reception opening hours. So thank you. The hotel's current Check-out Time of 10am is a little too early. I would suggest that the hotel change its Check-out Time to 11am.
