I spent two weeks in this hotel for a business trip. Iâm a disappointed about services in this hotel: no laundry service, no cleaning in the room during all the stay. Really nice hotel. But a bit of a pain to get to from the railway station with all the road and regeneration work going on. Why whoever is doing the work do not open the pavement area up at weekends is beyond me. No one working. But having to go out of the way to get to the hotel. But thatâs not the hotelâs fault.
The hotel was nice enough. Unfortunately the ice machine was broken but it is what it is.
The booking came with free parking if you put your registration in at the reception, however the guy who checked us in was a bit weird saying it was ÂŁ6 but he will waive the charge for us.
We were on the 8th floor. I don't use lifts so I asked where the stairs were and he tried to tell me they didn't have any.
Stairwell was nice until floor 5 where there was no carpet or wallpaper and the floor number was just spray painted on.
Room was nice and clean. It was nice and quiet and you couldn't hear noise from other guests. Bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioning was very necessary. Had a nice little fridge in the room which was good.
Overall I would give 4/5.
