It is generally clean, staff is friendly. The property is old, facilities is average. They don't have shampoo and shower gel, so just need to remember to bring them. surrounding not feel very secured, some random person just always stay outside, not fully fenced and exclusive to the guests stay.

I loved my stay.Staff was friendly and helpful. In our room the chair had been soiled and left a big stain. Couldnt be used.Found a earwig in the bed by the pillow. Then we found a baby cocroach running across the table. We were not put off by this.These things happen. Would still come back. Found it hard at night to find the entrance into the motel. Over grown shrubs or plants. But overall my stay was enjoyable. I will be back again Thanks

Absolutely shocked with the property conditions. They should not be allowed to operate. The room we stayed in was in a very poor state of repair. The furnishings were substandard. Dining chairs dirty and stained. Everything old and outdated. Displayed no care in presentation. We don’t sleep in the bed as would have been grossly covered in bedbugs. Carpets old and stained. Minimal conveniences. I’m so mad at myself for booking in here. I used to live in Hastings and the Apple Inn was a top location why I booked it. I was sorely disappointed to see how it has deteriorated. They take in REC workers as well and mix them up with their public units. I noticed ripped curtains in some of the units as we departed this morning. Not my cup of tea I’m afraid. Disgusting

Close to the CBD but unlit sign at night made it difficult to find. Old decor and stains on bed spread and chair. Nice and quiet for sleeping and beds comfortable. Hot water so hot it was scalding.

On arrival the place was overrun by patched mongrel mob members. It seemed like they lived there, kids running all around the place, parked all over the driveway. Way too unsafe to take my daughter there. We had already paid but we left and stayed somewhere else. Guests should be warned of this before we book!

we did not like the wet bathroom floor from the dripping skylight condensation. I slipped a few times on night visits to toilet. it was unpleasant getting cold, wet feet; socks, footwear... and having to mop-up the puddles throughout the night. no bedside lamp good heat pump
