The location of the hotel the beautiful sea view , a fantastic swimming pool area and the quality of the food is the restaurants was superb! The Breakfast was well organised and provided adequate choice. The Spa was great and very relaxing. The staff very attentive and friendly. The view from the rooms spectacular and they are a really family oriented hotel very good holiday for all even your pets. I would highly recommend this hotel, but make sure you have a car if you want to visit other adjoining areas.

Me and my family spent great 6 days at the hotel. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is incredible. Dinning options very good as well. Dalmar restaurante was very good. Overall, the hotel is very beautifully decorated and staff really helpful. The beach club had good food and good music. The problem that some guest had reported about the beach golf cars in other reviews seems to be fully resolved. We did not wait for the golf car more than 3 minutes in any of the days. It was always very quick for us. Very convenient. I would love to go back to the hotel in the future.

Fantastic resort, with beautiful large rooms, the bathroom includes everything you need. Also the breakfast buffet has a large variety of chooses. The service of the front desk and concierge are truly 5 stars. Only 2 suggestion for improvement: 1 the pool needs some proper cleaning specifically between the tiles and in corners. 2 we suggest to install a buzzer or phone at the beach and main hotel for transfer from and to the beach. I would definitely recommend this resort and I would like to revisit it. Again thank you for the excellent service

The property itself is beautiful, with well-designed grounds and very attractive, clean rooms. The overall setting and aesthetics meet expectations for a high-end resort. However, the service experience did not match a five-star standard. The hotel felt overcrowded during our stay, with noticeably more guests than the infrastructure seemed to support. There were fewer sunbeds than guests, leading to early reservations, often left unused for hours without enforcement. At breakfast, guests frequently had to queue, which is not expected at this level. Pool service was theoretically available but practically non-existent. Guests had to collect their own towels, and there were no small touches such as welcome snacks, refreshments during the day, or a sunscreen station. Housekeeping was inconsistent. While the rooms were clean, basic amenities such as toiletries were not replenished throughout an entire week. On one occasion, after we removed bed linens due to a spill, the same sheets were simply put back on the bed. Overall, the hotel has strong potential but currently feels unfinished in its operations and service standards. A clear highlight was the kids club. The team there was excellent and delivered a genuinely five-star experience.

We recently stayed at Fairmont Costa del Sol as a family with young children and, while the hotel has many strong qualities, our overall experience was mixed due to repeated operational issues. First impressions were excellent. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, very clean, and built with high-quality materials throughout. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and stylish, with large bathrooms, electric curtains, and lovely views. The overall aesthetic of the property is impressive and feels luxurious. The staff we encountered were generally polite, friendly, and clearly tried to help whenever possible. Unfortunately, it often felt like they were working within a system that lacked organisation and efficient management, which affected the guest experience repeatedly. One of the biggest issues was transport around the resort. The hotel is built on a steep hillside, with many villas located far below the main reception, restaurants, and pool areas. We stayed in a lower villa area, and while the location was close to the beach, access to the main facilities was difficult with a pram and young children. Buggies were in very short supply throughout the stay, with waits often 20–30 minutes or more. Walking uphill was challenging, especially with children. Housekeeping was another major frustration. On more than one occasion, despite requesting cleaning and contacting reception multiple times, the room was still not serviced by late afternoon or even evening. Basic items such

Here’s a polished, balanced review you could post on Hotels.com: We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Fairmont La Hacienda. The resort is beautiful, everything felt brand new, and the facilities, rooms, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were excellent. Every member of the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and eager to help, which made our stay very enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was at check-in, when our luggage took around 40 minutes to be delivered to our room. As the resort has only recently opened, some of the team seemed a little inexperienced, but they were always friendly and did their best to provide great service. One thing to keep in mind is that the surrounding area is very quiet, with very little to do within walking distance. We visited Sotogrande Marina, which is the main nearby attraction, but a return taxi cost us around €60.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent séjour à La Hacienda Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel La Hacienda. L’emplacement est idéal, à quelques minutes de la plage, et l’hôtel offre de très belles installations, notamment les piscines. La chambre était propre, confortable et agréable. Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible pour répondre aux demandes. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la qualité des repas et l’ambiance générale de l’hôtel. Une mention spéciale pour l’équipe d’animation, très sympathique et dynamique, qui contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour agréable. Venligt personale men absolut inkompetente til at yde nogen som helst former for service. Personalet virker imødekommende og indstillede på at levere den service, der forventes på et respektabelt hotel. Derfra halter det væsentligt, idet simple forespørgsler eller ønsker aldrig bliver fulgt til dørs. Inden ankomst lovede personalet, at der ville blive stillet en højstol til børn og en mikrobølgeovn til rådighed i den bookede suite. Stolen dukkede op efter 3 dage, og mikrobølgeovnen dukkede aldrig op trods adskillige forvisninger herom, hvorfor det var yderst vanskeligt at varme babymad. Ved ankomst tog personalet imod bagage, som skulle bringes til værelset. Efter 3 opkald med rykkere om bagagens levering, dukkede bagagen op efter 1,5 time. Værelset var særdeles beskidt med lange sorte hår på gulvene og i møblerne. Der blev booket en suite med egen pool og havudsigt. Havet kunne da anes, men man skulle stå det helt rigtige sted på terrassen og helst på tæer, for at få et glimt af noget vand. Vær opmærksom på, at hotellets restauranter ikke arbejder sammen med roomservice, og at man derfor selv skal afhente bestillinger på hotellets restauranter. Stedet kan nok bedst beskrives som et "gør-det-selv hotel", hvor omgivelserne er fine, men hvor man skal være indstillet på at måtte betjene sig selv, fremfor at spilde tiden med at vente på personalet, som alligevel aldrig vender retur eller når i mål med sine løfter.
