Nice concept and quiet space. Felt more like a rental cabin than a hotel experience. A little more rustic than we noted when viewing and booking. Bathrooms are very nice. Could have used more towels, which they immediately brought when we reached out. Very kind and friendly staff.

One night stay in a newly renovated, beautiful room. Thoughtful touches throughout. Big, brand new bathroom with a fancy shower. Even though it was right next to the hi-way, it was quiet. The appearance of the hotel from the outside was unique so we weren’t sure what to expect, but everything was great. We weren’t there long enough to use the outside bbq area. There are a lot of sketchy motels on the road near it and the front outside is being renovated so we held our breath, but no need. Very nice place to stay.

My family (15 of us) stayed in 5 rooms at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and updated. The furniture was new, beds were very comfortable, and each room had its own air conditioning unit, so you could set it the temperature. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. Check in was easy- the keys were at the room so you could go directly to the room and we were able to check in early. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Check out was just as easy. We have already recommended to other family members and will stay there again when we return to the area.

The room was clean and spacious. Easy to get into and leave. The bed was incredibly comfy. The heater struggled a little with how cold it was (less than 20 degrees) but we kept it on the whole time and it was adequately warm. The bathroom was very big and the shower was really nice.

No front desk at the Overlook. Check-in is electronic. Managers were very responsive to a couple of issues that arose such as hot water issue, a very complicated shower and a smoke detector battery. Very convenient park at your door concept and room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and nice. Our room was actually two rooms, each with a large bed, which was a surprise. There were no closets in either room. One room had a wall-mounted clothes rack. The place is new and areas are under still under construction.

We were in town for a wedding and elected to stay at the family owned Overlook Hotel. This hotel is under renovation and coming along nicely. The rehabilitated buildings come with luxurious fixtures and relaxing decor. A perfect retreat! Being that it is just up and running, some ammentities will need to catch up. If your stay in the near future requires anything in particular, be sure to communicate with the owners- i am certain the be sure you have all you need!

This is a new boutique hotel that has virtual check in and check out. But there is someone readily accessible if you need them. The room is large, the bed is comfy, and the bathroom - amazing! Very modern with a shower stall that has a super fancy shower that's rain shower, hand shower, waterfall and jets. And one of those neat toilets that wash you and dry you. Theres no restaurant or cantine if you want to eat, but there is what you need to make coffee or tea.

In the Pro column, the owners are extremely friendly. In the Con column: there is no signage that we could see so finding our unit in the dark was difficult. More to the point, there is virtually no outdoor lighting and the paths and steps really need upgrading, so it was actually quite dangerous. We had two beds, but the mattress for one was very old so there was a big dip in it. Lots of little things were missing: no Kleenex, the coffee station had no stir sticks (we ended up using the ends of our toothbrushes!), and only one packet of sugar. All in all not great, which would have been ok but the room wasn't cheap.

The interior of our room was very clean. The automated entry system worked fine. The sound-proofing of the room was quite good, given that the hotel is on a pretty busy stretch of road. There was a fridge, but no sign of an ice machine anywhere. A microwave would have been nice since we brought back leftovers to have for breakfast. The property itself seems to have a lot of construction going on, so it's a little rough around the edges. My only concern was that the bathroom floor got slippery when wet, and the configuration of the shower door and the bathroom door made it easy for the floor to get wet. For a single overnight it all worked fine.
