What a great stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Both of us thought the bed was exceptional and had wonderful sleeps . What stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff who we felt worked very hard to do their jobs and look after the guests.The manager(?) Kyle was the true standout. He really made us feel at home,was extremely helpful, efficient and instantly likeable. Due to the experience at the Barnsley location we looked in to booking at another site but unfortunately the hotel was full. We would certainly stay again at Premier in Barnsley and would readily recommend it to anyone

The bed was great. No frills, not a luxury hotel - but just what we required.

Hotellet var okej men kändes lite ryanair style. Den varma frukosten var ganska dåligt lagad. Våra vänner fick inte komma in i hotellet förens inchekningstid även fast de hade rum bokade. Alltså de fick inte ens gå till våra rum utan var tvugna att vänta utanför hotellet om de inte betalade för tidig incheckning. Hotellet ligger bra till så om man bara behöver någonstans att sova så funkar det bra men inget ställe jag skulle bo på för upplevelsen. Ganska nedgånget.

Unacceptable accessibility

Elevator from parking garage was out of order. Had to carry my suitcase up 8 flights of stairs to access the hotel lobby. Asked staff at checkin to comp the 5GBP parking charge but they said the car park was owned by the town and they couldn’t do anything about it. This is unacceptable. The staff should have provided vehicular access to the lobby for unloading which would have been possible under the circumstances.
