17 oct. 2026Good sized modern room with nice view over golf course. However restaurant not open expect if an event is on and bar closes very early. This is accommodation on a golf course, not really a hotel. Skeleton staff (whilst there) friendly, but they leave early, You have a number to ring a night porter. OK pub a 5 min walk up the main road on narrow path near busy A road. A short drive to town for food etc.

26 août 2026Loved this place! Would be amazing for a group get away for a golf trip. Stayed and played. Was a bit disappointed with the bar after the round though as it was empty and I could seem to get staff attention to get served.

10 juin 2026We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff.

The rooms were clean, and the entire environment and ambience was lovely.

30 juin 2026We had a great 1 night, stay, I would highly recommend. Staff great, room amazing with a view over the 18th green and fairway! We are not golfers but appreciated the views. Breakfast brilliant. I loved the room and how much space we had, also the big bed! We will definitely go back to explore the area. Thank you for our stay.

5 juill. 2026The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lovely shower. Air con was a bonus with the heat lately. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a school prom being hosted which made leaving the grounds difficult due to the traffic and narrow road, but the staff handled the flow of cars really well. The view from the window was great of the golf course. I would definitely like to stay here again.

26 sept. 2026Room 6 - The room was clean and well appointed, as was the lovely shower room, but the walls were paper thin and unfortunately, there was a couple in Room 7 who talked animatedly until 2am and then again from 7am. The sound insulation between rooms needs to be drastically improved, as we could honestly hear every word. The Superking bed was made up of 2 single beds joined together, so plenty of room but the mattresses were soft and well worn, both were dipped in the middle. The 2 tiny skylight windows looked directly at the side of the roof. Such a shame as it’s a lovely setting in otherwise quiet surroundings. I informed Reception of the sound insulation complaint and the response was that they would let the owners know.

27 mai 2026Lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. We stayed on the hottest day in May and no air-conditioning was an issue.
The staff came around with ice buckets added fans to the room and did everything they could to help. My sister is disabled and their care was outstanding.
Breakfast sat outside with a view of the golf course was fantastic.
Would we stay again most definitely maybe not in summer until they have air conditioning though.

25 juin 2026Beautiful location and view from our little balcony over the first Tee and 18th hole. Took my partner for his 50th and we had a lovely couple of days, the beers cold and the food was lovely. Had a round of golf which was challenging as very hilly and mostly blind holes. Great few hours out on the stunning course in sunshine though. Wharton has left the golf company group recently and has moved to new owners, both seemed lovely and have some exciting improvements in mind, the staff already seem impressed with the changes so far, would definitely visit again
