Fabulous room, lovely and quiet. Comfy bed and great bathroom. Bar was gorgeous with great selection of cocktails. Ate at the bar, not cheap, but very very nice. Free shuttle to airport is a welcome extra. Everything was spotless, this is a new hotel, I hope it remains so good.

Staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived until being dropped off by the airport shuttle. More than dropped off to be clear. Luggage loaded and unloaded by a friendly staff member. We will use this as our go to hotel for travel from Manchester. Service in lounge and at breakfast were spot on with staff eager to meet guests needs.

A beautiful hotel and beautiful room at a very good price. The staff were, without exception, exceptional. My only complaint was the price of the bar food. A simple burger was over £20, chips were an additional £6.50 and if you wanted salt and pepper on them it would set you back another £2! Overpriced bar food aside, the Dakota will be my preferred location next time I’m at Manchester Airport.

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Not just for the fabulous rooms, beds, decor, but the staff were exceptional. My daughter said she felt like a VIP the whole time. The valet service, receptionist, considerate ( especially Tony) and our server Jonathan were just amazing! I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Reception staff were great. Room was lovely. Really thoughtful touches such as having the shower controls on the opposite wall so you can get the temperature right without getting scalded or frozen, and having a dim light for poppi g to the loo in the night. Only downside was that breakfast took 40 mins and one reminder before t arrived. They weren’t that busy so it looked like they may have forgotten us. And when it arrived, the toast was burnt at the edges and one of the poached eggs was slightly under cooked (whites were still runny). Overall it was still really good though and we’d stay there again.

Cannot rate highly enough. The hotel was immaculately clean and the quality of the furnishings was exceptional. We arrived later than intended and had missed our free shuttle, but within literally 5 minutes of calling a very polite & courteous gentleman arrived to collect us. Check in was a breeze and the reception staff were lovely. There is a lovely ambiance in this hotel, the lobby is stunning and the Grill area was sumptuous and inviting. We stayed in a garden room and the attention to detail and little touches were amazing. A slate built into the vanity so you can use hair straighteners without burning the lovely wood and leather desk top, a kettle AND a nespresso machine so you can have a decent coffee when you wake up. Molten Brown toiletries and lovely big, bright white towels to wrap yourself in and slippers so you don’t slip on the bathroom floor. There was a proper make up mirror on the vanity, a great quality TV that easily allows you to reset it, and quite possibly the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in other than my own at home, which coupled with the blinds AND heavy blackout curtains resulted in a blissful nights sleep! Breakfast was delicious and again the staff couldn’t do enough for us without being intrusive. I usually use the Clayton when flying from Manchester but I on the recommendation of a friend I thought I’d try Dakota… and I’m totally converted! We will most definitely be back!
