Room with a View
Clean, quaint, remodeled hotel on hill which offers a nice view of Puerto Natales.
5 minute walk to bus station which was very convenient for bus trip to both the Torres del Paine park entrance and Puntas Arenas. Staff was very nice and the breakfast offered lots of healthy options. Only downside was the downtown area is about a 15 minute walk and the dogs around this neighborhood bark all night but I think that is an issue everywhere because the dogs sleep all day on the front yards/porches and bark all night in a lot of a Chilean towns so bring earplugs or play music over night. Also, standard room is quite small in size.

Like many hotels you can only book the "two beds or double bed", so of course you will most likely get whichever one you don't want. Not sure why it has to be this way when other hotels have figured out how to let you book the room you want. It was clean and my wife is picky about that, shower in this room (4) did drain as long as you didn't turn the water up too high. Rooms are small but its decent.

Beautiful place and beautiful views
This place is beautiful! Clean, minimalist, with fab views. I personally liked the window in the shower too - feels less cramped and you can still get a nice view!
It is far from town but a 5 minute walk from the bus station, which, if you have tons of luggage, is actually way more advantageous and cost-saving.

On the hill
Nice hotel on the hill which provided a great view over the water. Took us about 20 min. to walk downtown to restaurant area, windy and drizzling.

I had unpleasant experience with this hotel. When we were trying to check out the hotel staff held me asking me to pay for the room. I explained to him that I made payment through Expedia but he insisted payment. As I was rushing to catch my bus, i had no choice but to make payment. They could hardly speak English and was certainly not professional to deal with situation.

Nice hotel
Lovely charming hotel. Room was great - very spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and hot - a little odd that there is a window between the shower and the room. Room was quite hot and a little too warm overnight - you can’t control the temperature yourself so we had to open the window. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Good location for a bus station; a 15-20 minute walk to the town for restaurants etc.

Average short stay
Far from centre of town. The reception did not really know how to advise us as we arrived late and wanted dinner at around 10pm. Simple but clean room

Great View. About 15 minute walk to center of town. The staff was nice. I had to get towels for my room no charge, they were just missing. It was very windy and my bed on the 3 floor moved when the wind gusted. Hotel Temauken is very well made. I checked this out because the hotel is on a hill and I felt it move in the gusty wind. The guy at the desk also tried to tell me it gets worse in Patagonia so we will be ok. My recommendation is to stay on the second floor, it has great view also. There are steps with boards to get to the desk, hard with luggage on wheels. The staff help with the luggage once we got to the desk. Chile hotels have stairs so pack light. The street was quiet at night.

Great atmosphere but small room
Overall good experience. My only negative would be the size of the room. There was barely any space to put our luggage. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The staff was great and always very friendly! I would recommend staying here.

Clean, comfortable hotel close to bus station
Temauken Hotel was a great option for our group (3 couples in our 30s). We were traveling to Puerto Natales from Punta Arenas by bus so the location (5-10 min walk from the station, carrying luggage) was the biggest draw for us. But it's also a clean and comfortable hotel, modern design/style though simple, professional and courteous staff, and a nice common area with great views of the town.

Panorama view. Location. Simple room facility.
Less than 10 min walk to the bus station, very convenient if you need to commute to Torres del Paine every day as all the buses leave between 7--7:30a.m. and come back at 10 p.m.. Keep in mind that the town is a 30-minute walk from end to end, so you will need to book a taxi to the bus station if you live on the other side of the town.
Panorama view of the town. 99% of the buildings in Natales only have one story. So this hotel (3 stories) easily stands out (especially by located on a hill).
The room is small (two twin beds and not much space left). Shower stall (no bath tub) and the toilet doesn't flush well. No electric water boiler or simple utensils inside the room, nor in the common area. They forgot to replenish our toilet paper for 2 days in a row. Ask the staff for everything else.

Clean and comfortable
Perfect for what we needed- comfortable bed, warm room, nice buffet breakfast, good wifi and helpful staff. Great restaurant, cangrejo rojo, within walking distance. Other good places in town centre but might be a bit far to walk. Some of the staff's English wasn't as good as others, but hey I don't speak Spanish, and we managed ok. Would have been good to have a fridge to store food for hikes.

a bit far from downtown but unbeatable views
It's a bit of a walk to get downtown but after all the walking on this trip it was no biggie to me. We actually got a corner triple instead of 2 twins. The 3rd bed was in a little nook. The far wall was all window with a great view. Even the bathroom has a window to look into the bedroom and out the main window, although this means a creepy companion can spy on you in the bathroom... The lounge area is basically all window with a great view over the city and out to the ocean.

Great location, amazing views, excellent bedrooms
Besides the excellent location (three blocks from the bus station), the view from the rooms is breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The rooms are cozy, spacious, clean, nicely decorated in a modern but local style. I will definitely stay there when I come back to Patagonia!

Threeand a half stars ..????
The hotel is a three story timber building with no in room smoke detectors or visible fire management system .. there is no lift
our room had no television .. we were on the second floor and could clearly hear the front door opening and closing .. sleep kept being interrupted by outside guest noise ..booked two nights .. stayed one

Temauken Hotel Beautiful and Affordable!
Fantastic Hotel! Great Staff... Super helpful. Great Views. Very nice new feel inside with spectacular views from the hillside. Comfy beds. Clean. Nice woodwork and local art. Great lounge and nice bar with cool views. Out of all the places I stayed in Chile enjoyed this one the best. Good match for price and comfort... only drawback was the long walk down the hill to the town center.... but the views more than make up for it. Thumbs up!
