Aug 16, 2026Met my expectations for a small motel in a rural area like this. Room was clean and comfortable, and would recommend if staying in the area. Breakfast didn't start until 7:30 which is later than anywhere else I've been, so I had to leave prior to that.

Jul 9, 2026The hotel is a smaller motel in a small town. It has been updated and the rooms are great. Sorry cute area. Has a pavilion, a place for a bonfire and a grill. Staff was super friendly ! It was close to many places to visit along Lake Michigan. I would recommend this motel if you are in this area.

Jul 12, 2026Family owned property that they made me feel at home. Rooms appeared refurbished to new with very comfortable beds, strong AC, very clean rooms. I travel a lot and spend 80% of my time on the road and would easily return here again. This is a hidden gem. Better then Chain hotels.

Jun 22, 2026First time here and it was great! Check-in was fantastic. The lady who checked us in was super nice and very helpful. The room was huge and super clean. The a/c was great! No elevators in the building, but wasn’t a bad stair climb.

Aug 31, 2026Remodeled excellent condition clean comfortable beds. Manager was helpful and kind. She told us about the fire ring in the back of the property with free firewood which my son and grandson and I enjoyed very much. She even brought us some marshmallows to roast. I would highly recommend this hotel. They have numerous options of rooms and cabins. Close to the Manistee river hiking trails hodenpyle reservoir with boating kayaking fishing etc. 30 minutes to Traverse City 20 minutes to Cadillac 45 minutes to Lake Michigan. Near the snowmobile trails ski resorts for winter fun. Great location at very reasonable rates. We will stay here again!

The room was pretty clean and didn't have any "oders" that one might expect from a "motel". Beds were OK, typical firmer hotel beds. No issues with anything, really. Office personnel were friendly and helpful.

May 30, 2026This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). I felt safe who was clean they use Dove products, so grateful for your skin, the environment and women's initiatives. Just an all-around wonderful place that deserves the five stars. Breakfast was namebrand muffins, coffee, but no fresh fruit. Only recommendation I'd make to the staff, it would be lovely if you put out a few apples or oranges at breakfast. Thanks for a lovely stay and we hope you have a fantastic summer season.

Jul 29, 2026Our room was very clean, and the small sink in the room was an added feature along with the fridge and microwave. Everything looked updated/remodeled. Noise from the highway was a bit annoying but can’t be helped. TV reception wasn’t the greatest, as it kept losing the signal. But all in all, pleasant place to spend two nights.
