Great property.
We really enjoyed our stay at the ISO. The hotel met our needs for our 4 night stay. It is centrally situated so it was easy to explore. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and super friendly staff. Good dinner restaurant on property. Good selection of continental breakfast foods. Amazing sunrises! We would stay again if we come back to Kauai.

Property was probably about as expected for the price. Pros: - Right on the beach - Continental breakfast - Bikes are available for free Cons: - We booked for two people, and they gave us two double beds instead of a queen or king. That didn't make sense to me. The default should be one bed. There were no options to choose beds when I booked. I don't know if that was an ISO problem or a hotels.com problem. - Property inside and out is very old and dated. It does not look like the picture. Rooms smell very musty. - Television was basically broken

Grab & go breakfast was convenient and the location was good - near grocery store and restaurants with an ocean view. Our room, however, was quite run down and even though I reserved a king bed, we were given two doubles with no other options available. Isn't that what a reservation is for?

Great place to stay in Kauai
Our stay at ISO exceeded our expectations! We had a great room with a balcony facing the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable came with a bar fridge and coffee maker. They also provided complimentary continental breakfast, bikes are also available FREE of charge. While we were there they only had 4 bikes available so you had to get there at the right time. The day we left though they just got a bunch of new bikes. Wonderful restaurant on site, great pool and even a gas fireplace that is lit nightly. What a nice touch is that they even give each guest a reusable water bottle and they have free water cooler and ice machine to refill. Highly recommend this hotel!!!! We were even lucky to have a monk seal hang out on our beach for 3 days!!!!! Absolutely Love Kauai 💕💕💕

Peaceful Place On The Ocean
Thus is a nice place right on the ocean. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this place has it. It did however seem pricey for what you get. The complementary "grab and go" breakfast was lacking. They did not have any hot coffee available. We were surprised by that as were several of the other guests. When asking about it at the front desk, we were told to use the coffee maker in the room. I tend to avoid those things as I have seen some pretty grungy ones over the years. Their coffee maker looked clean, but we opted to walk down the street to Starbucks.

I needed a last minute place to stay that was comfortable and quiet. The grassy area is nice with a lot of palm trees, pool and ocean facing chairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lock on my sliding glass door was broken. In Kauai you are rarely in your hotel room so this is a good, affordable choice. You can walk to a big grocery store and to a natural food store. Tiki tacos is nearby and delicious.

I booked for a week and had to ask to ask to move to a different room as soon as I got to the room because each strongly smelled of mildew. The staff was very helpful but I ended up staying in the 3rd place one night (since I had to pay for it) and then booked another location in the same area and had a wonderful vacation.
