The staff was amazing. Very friendly and 24/7. Shower was great although they use a curtain which I don't like. There is access to the "beach" but bring water shoes. This is not sand but pebbles with seaweed. Still very beautiful. The pool was nice but it's salt water and not heated. Only about 25 minutes from the airport by taxi and there are lots of nice places to eat in the area. My only real complaint was the shower curtain and the inside of the hotel was quite bland with terrible colors. Think early 90's Miami hotel look. However, I really don't care about that much. Our room came with a balcony that was INCREDIBLE. The view of the sea was like staying at an expensive resort by the ocean (although it's a sea). Too many great things about the hotel to complain about a few little quibbles.

I stayed at Mati Hotel for one night, before my flight home from Athens. Staff was so sweet. Room was small but efficient. Pool is very nice, so is the restaurant on premises.

Room was great with a terrific view. The bathroom was very small, even by European standards. I would say the shower was about 28inches by 28. Service was exceptional and freindly. Great stay even for the tiny shower!

There was a market close by. There was not an ATM anywhere close. I had to take a cab ride to a neighboring city to find a bank. The prices at the hotel were a little expensive for the class of environment. The staff were great! They were friendly and helpful. It was overall a very good experience.

The first thing I noticed about this hotel when I walked in the front door was the heavy odor of both cleaning solution and cigarette smoke. The next thing I noticed was the old and decrepit looking elevator. The staff was pleasant and accommodating we went up to our room on the third floor and it certainly was not up to my expectation of a four-star. Sadly I checked out and moved to the hotel directly next to it

We only stayed for one night and everything was perfect Centrally located with lots of lovely reestaurants to choose from. The pool area was lovely. Breakfast was not included so we never experienced that side of the hotel. You could have breaakfast for EUR10 per person if you wish. It was terribly windy when we stayed so never got to walk around much. IOverall met all our requirements for one night stay.

The building was filthy, they have an elevator that’s 1000 years old, the pictures online looks nothing like their rooms, our blanket was made out of plastic like material. We left 1/3 of our reservation and the staff was speaking disrespectfully in Greek language towards us leaving (my friend spoke Greek and was able to translate). They wouldn’t refund our money for the next two days. Oh & they don’t allow free breakfast anymore cause of covid( it’s 2023)No ways this hotel has as high ratings as it does online. DO NOT RECOMMEND
