You can’t go wrong with this hotel!

The place is nice and clean, it’s 100m from the beach. It says it can be noisey, but I didn’t experience that. The room was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard and the staff were very friendly. The WiFi was food in the room and the tv die have English movie channels and American tv shows.

When we first arrived at the hotel, our room had an awful odor coming from the restroom. The shower was dirty as well. I went to ask about switching rooms because anytime you used anything in the bathroom, (shower,toilet, sink) the smell was worse. The staff was not too friendly when we asked for a new room. We ended up getting a new room that wasn’t as bad but still dirty bathroom. We ended up cutting our trip short and leaving a day early from the hotel.

In the middle of all the action

Perfect location for the party side of Phi Phi, right in the middle of all the action, the music from the bar across the pathway felt like it was in my room when trying to sleep which lasted until 3am but this was expected based on the location. The hotel was basic but clean. It was only a one night stay for myself this time so I was not expecting too much. I regularly travel to Phi Phi and based on price and my requirement to stay in this area, I would stay there again.

It's what you should expect

It was am ok place, staff was nice. It's close to everything which is great. But can be very loud at night. Definitely not family friendly. A little pricey for what you get. Don t expect a great view either. All in all, was all I needed.

Damp and mouldy

Do not stay here. The room was so damp that all the linens felt wet and the pillows smelled of mould. The smell was so bad that we had to use clothes as pillows instead. The beds were old and uncomfortable. Wifi didn't work in the room. Not even that cheap!

my trip was amazing, me and all my friends love the palce, very kind staffs, nice location , very good rooms, they help me and my friends to booking private boalt with very cheap price, they also pick all the bags at the Pier, and after check out helped again with the Bags, really apreciated my stay at Palms Residence, for sure will be back again.. very nice place for all, family , couple, work.. thank you for the nice time at Phi Phi ... hotel under construction but good service

We could not stay at this hotel as there was too much noise from construction work. The manager quickly found an alternative hotel close by so we could continue our stay. The Palms is in a very noisy bar area but to be fair the service was excellent. We were met at the pier and helped with luggage. The hotel will be nice when finished.

Prime time location if that's your cup of tea

This location is right in the thick of things in Phi Phi. Short walk to the beach and literally across the street from plenty of bars and clubs. As a solo traveler, the noise didn't affect me much as it eventually quiets down around 1AM and I did travel during low season (significantly less crowded). For solo travelers or couples looking for more of a party scene with centralized accessibility to everything on the island, I'd recommend. For a couple honeymooning looking for more privacy, you'll likely prefer the Long Beach area.

I felt that this hotel provided an excellent value. It's location is good being located almost in the center of the island. It is right next to a bar that plays music at night so if you are a light sleeper and plan to go to bed before 2AM, I wouldn't stay here. It not too loud where the sound of the AC unit and your TV cannot drown it out. I didn't have any issues sleeping. The room is a good size so it takes a few minutes to cool off, about 30. It was a little difficult to locate as well. I would stay here again next time I visit Phi Phi.

Club Sound !! - Go to room after 2 at night

++ : In center of nightlife and walking distance to the beaches, had help to carry luggage from pier, condition of room very good -- : Stay away if you are over 25 and of course not recommended for families. Not ANY sound isolation, you can hear people from the next rooms and bass music from the bars outside until 2 at night, floor crackling, the doors look to be very thin and lock is just a joke. At least they sould put thicker windows so that the bass and the sound is not in your ears Stayed 2 nights, no cleaning of room. Shoes left outside of the hotel. Receptionist came at 10.30 to ask if we will stay more or checkout Recommendation: find a hotel that is not in the "town" and just use the longboats to go around the island.

Phi Phi diving trip

Stayed 2 nights. Its a nice hote if you are there for partying and want to sleep after 2 am. Then its a really good place. if you are there with family and kids, THEN STAY AWAY. The night club 2 meters from our room is pounding loud music till 2 am. so as i said if you plan to sleep after 2 then its a perfect hotel. beds are great its within walking distance of everything. we did ask for cleaning of the room which never happened!!! besides that its a great place with a lot of different people and you can have a great chat with everyone.

Middle of all the action.

Lots of reviews complain about noise etc. What else do you expect when you are located right in the middle of all of the action on one of the best known party islands in the Andaman Sea. Yes, the music is blasting until 3am... So either join the party, or get some good earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. I would certainly stay here again, but not for more than 2 nights... As for the reviews about rude staff etc. I would be the same if I had to deal with all the drunk, out of control tourists walking around... I respect them for being as patient as they were.

Okay hotel

Location was great but if you are a light sleeper prepare to sleep late as you can hear the entertainment going on outside. Across the hotel is a Mexican bar and beside it is also a hostel and another bar. Nonetheless, this hotel is situated right in the middle of everything, close to shops and good restaurants. WiFi is not that great in the room but once you're in the lobby it's okay. The room was decent size, bed comfortable, air-conditioning good, amenities provided good although had to ask for them to clean and refill the tea/coffee and water. Reception staff can be sometimes good and sometimes abrupt. Overall an alright stay.

The palms residence was just a short walk from the main beach, so very convenient. The customer service was excellent. There was a young gentleman with a sign waiting for me at the dock, so upon my arrival he escorted me to the hotel. Checkin was easy. Room was clean and cool.

Very overpriced don't count on getting much sleep

One of the worse hotels I have stayed in. Very overpriced for what you get. Maybe ok if your in your twenties and you like having a late night because you won't get much sleep with the nightclub right next door! Staff were terrible, apart from the guy that met us at the pier, they couldn't even look up from their phones to say hello when you walk in.
