A pleasant stay made better by the rooftop bar
Nothing to rave about. The frosted glass sliding doors to the bedroom seemed a bit unnecessary and the huge gap under the door to the bathroom reduced the privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were good. The kitchen surfaces and coffee table would have benefited from more thorough cleaning. However, the rooftop bar was excellent. Friendly staff and a good range of drinks plus complimentary snacks. The location was reasonably convenient and with easy walking distance of the centre of town.

Liked - Good edge of CBD location, friendly and helpful staff, rooms well equipped. Effective air con and ceiling fan. Opportunity to recycle a big plus as was that rooms weren’t over-serviced. Okay - cafe was good and the grab and go option a good idea but menu was fairly limited. I’m sure the 16th floor lounge and bar had great views but it was closed on Mondays and up until 3:00 pm other days. But - needed some minor updating and maintenance. 4th floor looked straight out onto pool and presumably pool straight into rooms. Blinds not great and when closed blocked the only source of natural light.

Great city apartments
Nice rooms, decent amount of space. Pool is excellent for actually swimming in. Rooftop bar is pleasant and the free canapes are a nice touch. Little bit of road noise from boy racers late at night but that's not the fault of the hotel. Facilities are good, being able to cook and do laundry was a big plus.

Had a great stay here for four nights. Very helpful and friendly staff in all areas. Ample free parking which is enclosed and sheltered from the sun.Our rate included breakfast which essentially was a voucher for $22.00 per person to order from their menu. Restaurant staff were fantastic and very obliging for this picky eater. Evenings on the rooftop were great. Simply order a drink and help yourself to the complimentary buffet of hot and cold appetisers and enjoy the sunset over the harbour and the city lights. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Darwin and the surrounding area.

Although on the fringe of the CBD, a $10 taxi ride took you, right to the centre of the CBD. The taxi service was excellent & our way of getting to restaurants and retail areas.We suggest that a small barrier be attached to the bathroom floor, on the door side of the outlet drain. A shower at an elevated pressure selection meant that water travelled further than intended.

Unfortunately, the room we were given was not well cleaned and I had to spot sweep, mop, wipe the counters, you name it. The kitchen had some utensils but really not equipped enough to do anything other than very light food prep. Overall the place is dated and not well maintained. The rooftop bar is nice but other than that, we weren’t impressed.
