The hotel and service were amazing. Unfortunately the trash trucks were out bright and early. It was very loud outside our room and we awoke to that noise for quite a while emptying trash along the street.
Beautiful spot in a beautiful town. Really top notch accommodations and space. Love that so many great spots are in walking distance too. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel. Centrally located. Most things are centrally located and in walking distance (including parking, so be advised that it is NOT onsite as I was led to believe). Homeless population in the immediate area is off putting but understandable, considering. Staff is attentive and helpful. Was drawn in by the pictures when looking for somewhere to spend my Birthday. Outside does not do the interior justice. Will absolutely return
*If youâre due vip access perks, please request bc I didnât receive mine. Was flustered after checking in and didnât ask*
Absolutely love this hotel! It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was beautiful, comfortable, & convenient. We had an amazing stay and will stay here again when visiting Asheville.
The hotel was very nice. My biggest complaint is the parking is so bad, it doesn't feel safe parking in the ally the hotel provides, i went to move my car at 12am to the paid parking garage and there were numerous homeless in the ally next to the cars. Our check out was on Saturday and we were told we'd have to move our car to that parking garage because of a farmers market blocking the ally, so I ended having to pay for the parking. Also the front desk was on limited hours and I ended up helping two guest get checked in and find parking since I happened to be in the lobby. Outside of that the hotel was amazing. The room we stand in had a dated bedroom tv with no smart functions so we weren't able to watch Netflix together which was a bit of a let down but not a deal breaker. I really did enjoy my stay, the parking really was the worst thing about it. I probably wouldn't stay again due to that but really thats the only reason
Wally the receptionist was the highlight of our visit. Missing our own pooches meant cuddles was a must. The rest of the team are great too so friendly. And the room was amazing.
We come to Asheville a few times a year. We had stayed at a few places before finding the Haywood and had been very happy there until their recent renovations took out their bathtubs. I have nerve conditions that need me to soak my legs. That led me to calling a bunch of places and finding the Windsor and Iâm so glad I did. It had a wonderful location, charm and much better than an average hotel stay. (It was even cheaper than our previous hotel by a tad) The amenities couldnât be beat. Will definitely return.
Great boutique hotel. Very charming with a great blend of features that appeared original and also many updates. Felt very clean. Great amenities in the room that are small but highlight youâre in a higher level hotel (robes, slippers, hand soap, nicer toilet paper, complimentary beverages). The only downside to the room was the bathroom lighting was low but then I found there was a lit makeup mirror in the cabinet.
Lots of shopping, restaurants in the area. Highly walkable. Definitely recommend.
