Quiet, nice view, good deal, comfortable.
In fact I was pleased with Poland as a whole.
A surprising experience ==> near by "Circle K" gas station. Had once breakfast there.
Pure polish delicatesse of bread and all sorts of cookies and coffee.
Sun-flower seeds cookies, kind of granola-cranberries cookies.
Poland, made impression of a "bio oriented" country. I loved it.
Highway so clean!!! Not even one grafiti. Water color of blue sky and fields on guardrails...
I went to a nice SPA 180 km away "Wieniec Zdroj". Peacefull among forest.
Had to go once to Auschwitz. Did not stay long but I was impressed to see that from all religions and origins were doing sometimes 3 hours queue. The queue the bright side of humanity, of beautiful people, on the other side transportation to abyssal past... I think besides showing respect to the place many come to see how they would react faced to that horror. Me selfish and came in Poland for fun, but no need to be told horrible things... the barbed, the concrete fences, oppression ambiance speak for themselves... It spoke to my selfish mind usually used to non stop chat with friends. Auschwitz speaks differently to each of us. I felt the oppression that you don't feel if not on place, and it made me deeply sad. I thought of many "Yoram" that went there... Happy I was less selfish this time, it made me grow a bit.
On other subject, Poland has a strong identity. I love it. Shall it keep it. Would gladly visit again there.
