DO NOT BOOK HERE - they overbook & cancel
The worst customer serivce experience I have had in all of my traveling. We were in town with an entire sports team for our state championship. I attempted to connect with the reservations deptartment but was receiving no answer and worried about sellout so I booked online and connected to my Hilton Honors. We arrived in the morning, validated our vehicles and went across to the competition venue. Upon return that evening to check in, I was informed the hotel INTENTIONALLY overbooked and cancelled our rooms - 7 rooms for high school student athletes. Management seem unphased and said that is "common practice" to ensure full stays and it shouldn't be an issue because they were sending us to another hotel. We were sent 15 minutes away from the venue space, and the rooms they booked for us were King rooms with double occupancy, when we had booked Double Queen rooms for 4 occupancy (had 27 individuals total in 7 rooms). When I called BACK to the doubletree, in further panic, the individual I spoke with was rude, said I could leave a message for the sales manager (which was obviously pointless at 8pm) and then hung up on me. The NEW hotel was not surprised as they said this happens very often. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had.
