Quaint Place

We've stayed as part of a larger trip and it is really just average but very quaint. Parking was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Security seems good. Could use some renovation but overall it was comfortable though very little breakfast options. We'd stay there again though.

Misleading reviews and overall reting

WiFi was slow when it was working which is about 35% of the time. Cracked and broken floor tiles in front of the toilet, toilet paper dispenser falling off the wall. Appliances are from the 1950’s are paint is rusting and falling off. Cabinet shelf’s are missing mounts causing items to fall. Shower tiles are damn near falling off and had hair (not mine, I’m bald) in it. Included dishes were dirty.

Unique motel

Our room was comfortable and a convenient location for our weekend plans. Older motel in decent shape. No elevator to second floor, so stairs it is. Cold continental breakfast is offered, ice in the lobby behind the desk - need to ask for it. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Lots of perfume chemicals

Do Not stay here if you are chemical sensitive! Very Strong perfume smells and woke up sick. Cheap price not worth it. Live and learn!!

I've stayed in better places...

The exterior of the hotel is extremely cute and the continental breakfast was good. The front desk staff was very friendly. The room appeared clean. My complaints are the condition of the room. It is very outdated with the wall paper peeling off all over. The heater doesn't have a temperature gauge so doesn't self regulate. I'd put the heater on then the room would get too hot so I'd have to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. Then it would get freezing again so I'd get up and have to turn it back on. And this happened all night long for 3 nights. Also, we stayed Wednesday to Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday were quiet nights but Friday many more people checked in and they seemed very sketchy. They were up all night and it sounded like they were walking back and forth with heels on the hardwood floors, the bed on the other side was squeaking all night long and their toilet kept flushing over and over. I have no idea what was going on but I can imagine.... It was a long night!!

Nice stay!

It took us a while to get the heating unit adjusted (room was extremely cold when we entered) to our satisfaction but once adjusyed it was very comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and the room was fine for our needs, beds comfortable, nice fridge, TV, microwave and a keurig! We had plenty of hot water and continental breakfast was nice. Staff was very friendly and helful.

Like staying at Grandma’s house.

We had planned on a different hotel but it got booked so we pivoted to this one. It feels like grandmas house. Not updated and the vintage wallpaper is a little shabby in some areas. It’s very Clean (except for mildew in the bath tub) some wall patching was not completed. We could not get the fireplace to work. Desk help and maids are helpful and friendly. The adjacent restaurant was a good breakfast spot with great service.
