Great Location, not a busy street at all which is good especially after you have to go through so much city traffic to reach this area Gulshan/Banani which is the hub of hotels.
Good choice for business/leisure.
Not a very good hotel, would recommend to stay away. It was very noisy right next to a busy road. The bed was right in front of the AC meaning it was either super cold (AC on) or super warm (AC off). Also the masseuse at the spa asked if I wanted a handjob in the end which I declined obviously. The breakfast was ok. Just stay away.
Decent Gym and not a bad swimming pool for a small property. Breakfast selection is good for a Dhaka hotel. The bed was very comfortable but pillows a bit soft for my liking. Will definitely stay here again when I am back.
Unlike grand chained hotels, Golden Tulip Grandmark Dhaka is definitely one of the best small-medium size hotel. But hopefully there would be more choices in breakfast. Wifi could be improved.
An efficient, comfortable and friendly hotel. Walking distance from area with lots of shops, restaurants etc. Comfortable and good service, effective wifi, large tv with lots of channels, relatively quiet for Dhaka. Unfortunately pool was out of order when I was there (a key reason for choosing this hotel!), also one of the two elevators was out of order all of my 5 night stay - staying on the 9th floor this meant long waits in the morning. Good choice of food on menu but average in terms of quality.
The hotel staff were very friendly and service was pretty good. I didn't go out anywhere in the vicinity as I was on a short business trip. This is a very convenient hotel for business trips and is well located in the Banani area. They have a reasonably good restaurant as well.
