We will not return!!!
We (a family of 4) will not be going back and so we share here our overall experience:
Positives:
Outstanding Egyptian staff (waiters, house cleaning, doctors, all very good). A beautiful beach. Management dedication to evening variety.
Negatives:
"All inclusive" is misleading for those used to all-inclusive: drinks are NOT included and beware of their cost (adds another 20% to bill). Hobbycats are included but the wind is so strong staff do not allow them to be used (what is the point? good advertising? a few lasers could be used). Diving is not included either and the instructors are far from the best.
Swimming pool far too small and permanently overcrowded for a resort of this standing. All the buildings are shabby; Windows don’t close properly. Moving furniture every morning - very noisy, so forget about quiet lie in!
Food: abundant but low quality: sadly overcooked (hard) meat and fish. Couscous and lentils were undercooked. The wine served with meals is low quality, which encourages guests to buy better quality wines.
Check-in: Lengthy check-in with no explanation. No orientation whatsoever on arrival
Language: Everything is in German with zero translations (ever) and zero effort to be inclusive. For a family used to travelling internationally, this was quite an experience in exclusion!
We will not return.
