Staff were professional yet very approachable: The room was spotless .. loved having the kitchen area , was perfect.. only gripe, and its purely from a selfish point of view, is I’d prefer a couch in the room / in front of the tv, I stress of the 2 chairs.. but that’s just me!! The penthouse has much better beds than other rooms here but I still have the same complaint about the coffee. No hotel should ever serve instant coffee. Please just provide a proper nespresso or similar and proper coffee. It’s not that hard but unfortunately most hotels in the UK are like this. INSTANT COFEE SUCKS! Period, full stop.

Got there entrance to hotel smelt terrible of drains,got our key went up ro our room which was worse the full room was dirty thick of dust carpet covered it crumbs and hair melt dirty and damp ro.Tv didnt work neither so reported and complaint and was moved to another room which was exactly the same.So went back down made a complaint and spoke to manager who got us a full suit in main hotel with a free breakfast and was so sorry for problems with the aparthotel.The main hotel was amazing our room was beautiful clean and breakfast was stunning staff couldn't be any nicer and great with our little girl who's one.Would never recommend aparthotel but the main hotel was amazing.Would defo stay in the main hotel again

Be careful about paying at this property as on a recent stay my Credit Card was charged twice. Furthermore the holding deposit still hasn’t been returned and sat in ‘Pending’ status. Booked a stay early August (3 weeks ago) and whilst the receptionist stated she made a mistake double charging also stated that a refund request was put through to the Head Office. I’ve call 3 times so far and still haven’t had my refund or the holding charge releases. That’s a total of £500 I’m still waiting to be reimbursed !! When I called for the 3rd time and requested HQ’s contact details, I was refused ! This is nothing short of unprofessional and withholding of funds.

We have stayed here before and love it as it is a spacious room that provides everything you need within 30 second walk to Quayside. I do have two complaints though. As like our stay here 3 years ago the bed mattresses are old and in need of replacing. They aren’t totally uncomfortable but they are old and upturned at the edges leaving you feel like your being pushed to the centre of the bed constantly. I have never woke up here feeling completely rested. My other complaint which is the same to most hotels in the UK. PLEASE GET RID OF THE INSTANT COFFEE. I wish these hotels would understand, for most people the most important thing to start your day is a good cup of coffee. Please invest in a single cup coffee machine and proper coffee pods. Most guests will thank you for it. All in all this hotel is good and if you’re in. Newcastle for a long stay, the fridge, cooktop, oven and dishwasher are handy and can be a nice break from heating out all the time and you can keep food and prepare snacks for walking out all day. With the exception of the things I listed, this is a good place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, Georgia was wonderful and deserves a raise.

We stayed on a Friday evening. The reception were very professional during check in and giving information. The location is perfect for visiting all restaurants and bars that the Quayside has to offer. The apartment we stayed in was clean, comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a get away or a longer stay!

Roomy and comfortable

Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back

Second time I’ve stayed there and this time was in the summer. Due to light evenings noticed a real problem with poor light blackout blinds in the kitchen area which meant the room never got thar dark making it harder to sleep. Also this time it was a real hassle getting in and out as had to buzz in every time. Apart from those issues though, still a great location and flat - which a full kitchen and space.

Vermont Apart-Hotel bank holiday stay

Superb location, very handy for anything down the quayside and a short (uphill) walk into the center of Town for shopping. Water pressure was a bit suspect but larger bathroom, mini kitchen well equipped and stocked, if a bit pricey. For the money, we'll definitely be back.

This hotel is good for the price however it does need updating as the paint in the hallways is all peeling off due to damp and the carpets are very outdated. The room it's self was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Dont use the mini bar, prices are extortionate, £5 for a bottle of water!

Weekend away

Fantastic 5 nights at Vermont ApartHotel, usually stay at Vermont hotel so first visit to this property. Efficient check in, request for high floor honored and lovely clean spacious 2 bed apartment in an excellent central location. Only fault was the bin in the kitchen was very very small and over our 5 day stay was never emptied so we had rubbish piled up on kitchen bench and floor. No towels or tea and coffee were replenished, however we did ask at reception and both were brought straight away, but guidance on what they are doing and not doing would have been useful on check in.

Sleepless in Newcastle

There is only one criticism and that is the fact that it is situated next to a nightclub which doesn't finish until 2am on Saturday morning and 3am on Sunday morning ,.consequently in room 103 we had the resounding deafening beat each night. The apartment was excellent .

Very helpful reception, although a different person every time we returned to the property and nobody asked us who we were before just went through to go up to the apartment. Apartment excellent, plenty of room, very comfy beds and pillows, cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, one ensuite and one shower room. Would have been helpful to have a washing up brush or cloth. Only gripe that it is painted in such dark colours - black or very dark brown woodwork everywhere. It could be a bit noisy outside but that’s not the fault of the hotel. We had an excellent and comfortable two-night stay.
