Perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway
We thought the hotel was perfect! Everything was clean, new, and decorated nicely. The pools were quiet during the week, access to the water activities and hotel activities were great, restaurant food and coffee/to go bar was always good (slightly overpriced for certain things) and all of the staff were extremely nice. The location was good for us as we were looking for something more quiet and relaxing away from duval st craziness and did not mind the short shuttle bus ride into downtown or getting an uber somewhere if we needed to. Only very minor criticism because I am very picky is sometimes our room got a slight bit musty smelling, the pillows weren't the best/flat and water pressure in the shower was very low. We would have loved to do a fishing charter and convenient that some left right from the hotels marina, we also enjoyed walking the docks and looking at all of the boats and yachts. We would give it 10/10 and absolutely return again!

Disappointed!
Very disappointed that the reservation was for handicap accessible, but when we arrived, the room and grounds were not as accessible as expected. One elderly guest needed grab bars and shower chair and was told that was requested but not guaranteed. This was critical and I wouldn’t have booked had I known that. Staff was not able to make small accommodations other than supply a shower chair which was not received until the following day. They claim to be ADA compliant but not sure how anyone traveling alone could navigate the grounds without help. Staff seemed uninterested in finding a solution and would rather apologize for not being able to do anything. Hmmm…maybe have maintenance run to Home Depot for grab bar?… they make them that are not a permanent install. Although…wouldn’t it make sense to equip all rooms with grab bars? Problem solved… now when advertising accessible rooms, at least guests with mobility issues can safely and confidently use the bathroom. Seems management could look at upgrades that could make safety a priority. Food was good but expensive. Service was good. Overall, this was my mother’s last trip to say goodbye to Florida. Unfortunately for her, the lack of these safety devices made it embarrassing and uncomfortable having to rely on others to use the bathroom. Too bad management doesn’t think of these things…it would have made a world of difference.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Only wish I had more time to spend at the resort. Only had two days and wasn’t able to enjoy the amenities they offer. They charge you $50 a day to use them and $27 a day for parking.

Beautiful Key West Resort 5 miles from downtown.
Check-in was smooth and easy. Very nice room, with our own balcony, comfortable bed/mattress and included plush bath robes. The resort’s 6 pools are beautiful and include padded chaise lounge chairs. Yellowfin restaurant/bar was convenient and easy to get a table. Food was good for the price and includes an outside dining option. Complimentary shuttle to downtown Key West was very convenient. Highly recommend!
