Good room and great location, just fix some stuff
The room was good and clean. Its a perfect spot just off the beach. My only issue was the back door to the beach was broken and couldnt be locked from the outside so You had to walk around, also the blinds for the back door were broken but functional. The room was good but for the price just fix the door and blinds,

Great location, beautiful rooms, amazing service.
We made a reservation at the Salty Mermaid later in the day and arrived on site after hours. We called the after hours number and they helped us to get into the room and have a place for the night despite not being able to verify our reservation. Amazing service. The rooms are super cute and perfect size for a couple or small family. Right on the beach and it’s only 5 units so it’s small and private. Would hands down stay here again.

Nice place to stay at the beach
Very cute place to stay for a couples getaway. The location is perfect. It’s just steps from the back patio to the beach and the outdoor area with seating was perfect. Our only complaint is the shower pressure is very weak and the water smells. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Cool place, we had a great stay! Oceanfront vacation at its best! Clean, comfortable and convenient to dining, the beach, shopping. We also rented a super cool golf cart to zip around town, as well as drives on the beach. And...perhaps best of all...I caught my first Redfish! A 30" big boy! Thanks Salty Mermaid, we'll see you again sooooooon.

Pros- Room size, comfortable beds, oceanfront, walkable to restaurants & shops, great setup with chaise loungers & umbrellas facing ocean, super nice host Cons- bathroom door should NOT have slats (it needs to be a solid door…privacy pls), sitting chairs right outside glass doors but no privacy-can see all other guests right there too (need dividers of some sort), grassy area by chaise loungers is full of stickers- they need to turf this area
