I stayed in the cottages. I felt disconnected from everything. It was far away from the pool. It was far away from what I felt was everything. The cottage itself was beautiful, but I prefer to be close in walking distance 2A pool, and yeah, for it being margaritaville. I had margaritas at the pool bar and it was more like a snow cone, very disappointing. I love my margaritas when i'm on vacation

We have stayed at Margaritaville once before and it was wonderful. This time we decided to spend a little more for a bigger cottage with a private pool and it was just OK. The biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness when we checked in--something you never want to see when you check into a place. That kind of killed things for us. Furthermore, they had no towels, which they corrected, but again...just eh. We also had issues with the coffee pot and the outlets in the kitchen. Management says they will offer us a discount to come back and I hope they follow through as this place has a lot of pluses.

House was clean and comfortable. Only issue was bed types. I paid for one king and two queen bedrooms and got one room with twin beds which was kind of an inconvenience but next time we speak with resort representative when checking in.

Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had small signs of garbage (clothings price plastic tag remnants) along the baseboards as if the floors hadn’t been carefully swept, the kitchen was clean and decently supplied with cookware, dishwasher appeared to run but didn’t clean dishes so our large group hand washed all week. Supplies (soaps, paper towels, tp, garbage bags) were stocked for about two days worth, our reservation was for 7 days. Calls to the desk went unanswered. I stood in the front desk line for nearly 20 minutes on day 3 to get more supplies. A technician came to look at the dishwasher, but observed that it was running and called it good. Overall, the location was convenient to Disney, but we will look at staying at another location for our next visit.

We stayed in a villa and it was very clean, comfy and felt just like home. The only disadvantage is that it is about a mile away from the main pool and amenities so we did need to use our car to get around. Overall, Beautiful place and great for a family getaway! We really enjoyed sunset walk as they had lots of kids activities and plenty for the adults as well. We will stay again!

I waited in line for an hour to check in. When I got to the desk it was 4:30pm (check in is 4pm) and my cottage wasn’t ready. The staff at the front desk was friendly and apologetic but clearly overwhelmed with the number of people waiting to check in. At 5:30 I got the call that the cottage was ready. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable. However, on our second day, there was a power outage that apparently damaged the router and left us without WiFi (which also meant we had no TV access). They weren’t able to fix the situation during our stay. We rented a cabana by the pool and had paid for an extra chair but it was missing the extra chair. When I let the staff know, she told me to drag a chair from another cabana. She was clearly also overwhelmed with the amount of people in line to enter the pool area. I wasn’t sure which cabanas were in use and I didn’t want to mistakenly take a chair from a rented cabana. So, I finally found another staff member by the pool and they were able to find a chair. I am not sure if they were understaffed or what the case was but that appeared to be the situation. They did offer a $50 resort credit to use at the restaurant (for the room not being ready on time). I would try again to stay there because the resort, pools, and cottages are beautiful. However, I would not confidently recommend it to others due to the issues we had during our stay.
