An unusual little place of great character in a unique location.
We were also glad that the kitchen hours had been extended to 9.00pm. Good food; including breakfast, but it should be, for the high price.
Just a rare find these days. Everything you could hope for. Exactly the best type of old village pub, great atmosphere, fine tap room and diversity of excellent food and drink. Menu deliciousâŠ. Thank youâŠ. There was a crooked picture on the wall , but you canât have everything?âŠ
Very friendly service. Arrieved before the check in time but room was ready, was told we can go up. Decided to have a drink and a bite to eat before going up.
Good food and ales.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Quality bedding and towels.
Great choice breakfast with a great service.
All the staff were amazing!
Gorgeous inn in a lovely setting with plentiful food and drink, and incredible staff. Food served âtil closing on Sunday and a banging breakfast. Decent wines and a stacked bar. Ding-a-ling.
Hotel com uma localização muito boa perto dos cliffs, lugar aconchegante com um restaurante com otimas opçoes locais, equipe muito atenciosa, quarto aconchegante, adoramos nos hospedar no Elizabeth.
Our room was very clean and included a hospitality tray and good quality bed linen. Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and set us up for the day.
We hope to return....
Comfortable accommodation in beautiful surrounding
We stayed a couple of nights in this picturesque inn. Breakfasts were generous (the full English is gut busting) with a good choice: a cooked menu, continental and fruit salad. The staff friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean with tea/coffee and biscuits provided in the room, and divine smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The only slight criticism is the lighting was pretty poor in our room. We like to read in bed and the side lamps weren't really powerful enough, and each differed in strength (my husband's wasn't fit for purpose-change the bulb please). Also the bed feet are devils: they look nice and decorative but because they stick out a bit we both painfully bashed our toes. We'd wised up by the second day and draped the bed cover around them for protection. The inn is perfectly situated for walking and we would definitely recommend staying here.
