The owner is exceptionally nice and friendly. Like most older properties on the coast its a bit worn around the edges . Mold is a constant fight on the coast and he's let this slip. Breakfast was late and no eggs available. Priced well.

This was a great stay. It is an older hotel with lots of charm. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful sheet that is given listing many of the local places to see, where they are and how to pronounce them. He also pointed us in the direction of an Elk viewing area where we did spot some elk. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and have a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included. Pets are allowed with a small fee. Gave us a room that made sense for us having a dog (close to the grass area, etc). Pleasant stay overall.

If you're looking for 5 star accommodations with all the amenities, go elsewhere. If you're ok with homey atmosphere and quaint quiet rooms, definitely check here. Super nice owner. Barley biscuits and gravy fresh made every morning. Walking distance to Old Town.

The property and accommodations were very run down, the kitchen wgere breakfast was served was cluttered and dirty, the coffee pot looked like it had never been washed. The carpet in our room was stained and dirty, the shower had mildew on the ceiling. The motel itself had seen better days, very run down. Although, the bed was very comfortable and nice, everyrhing else left a lot to be desired.

The rooms cleanliness wasnt the best. They don't move furniture to vacuum and it showed. There were old dead bugs under the night stands and spider webs. Under the fridge was someone's fake nail that you could easily see from just opening the door on the fridge. There was also smashed bugs on the walls. The bed was comfortable, but we were just more concerned about the cleanliness of the room to properly enjoy it. The building is an old hotel that needs some TLC.

Very cute! It’s older, and it shows, but has more charm than the standard chain hotels. Breakfast is made by the owners in a little kitchen/dining area off the lobby and feels very cozy and nice. Easy walking distance to Old Town, and convenient to beaches and other stuff of interest near Florence.

The rooms weren’t the cleanest or most up to date, but we both thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are planning to return. The Lighthouse Inn had character and the proprietor had breakfast for all the guests in a home style kitchen- excellent biscuits, gravy, and eggs!

This is a charming place. Yes, it is old, but clean and friendly. It offered a full breakfast and was within walking distance to a variety of restaurants for dining. Although it was close to the main highway and I am a light sleeper, the traffic didn't bother me. It would be nice to have a coffee pot in the lobby for us early risers.

Property is very run down. I could be very quaint if there was good general upkeep. There is a lot of need for general upkeep, remodeling and also organization. Staff was very pleasant and breakfast was good.
