Mostar's Mostar Old Town neighborhood is known for its riverfront and coffeehouses, and entices visitors with attractions including Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar.
You can learn about the history of Mostar with a visit to Crooked Bridge. Stroll along the riverfront or experience the museums in this culturally rich area.
If museums are on your list of things to see in Mostar, then you might want to head to Muslibegovic House. If you want to see more of the museums in Mostar, you can easily walk to Old Hamam or Bišćevića Ćošak.
If you're interested in local religious buildings head to Mostar Old Town— home to Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. You could also start your cultural experience by heading over to the museums in the area.
Notable for its riverfront, Mostar features attractions such as Hotel Neretva Ruins and Muslibegovic House. This historical city has something for everyone including sights like Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar within a secluded setting.
Mostar is full of tourists, for good reason. It has a very walkable old town (wear good shoes as the cobblestone streets are tricky) outstanding food and great open-air musical offerings in summer. The calls to prayer from the mosques are charming.

While the old town around the famous bridge is somewhat touristy, the city is very walkable with plenty of areas to explore. Nearby attractions like Blagaj and the view from Fortica are well worth a visit, as recommended by our apartment's owners.

Beautiful place and makes a difference to stay overnight as you can walk the streets both after the rush of day trippers is over or before they arrive in morning. Lovely places to dine along the river

Wonderful food, excellent prices. Would recommend a full 24 hours for your visit. When it is hot it can be hard to explore and there is a lot to see.

Nice old town full of history. The bazaar even though very touristic is what it would have looked like in the old days.

"Warnest and most kind welcome. Really friendly and helped with luggage. Wonderful property worh so much history and full of intriguing artefacts. Lovely breakfast. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and ready to give you time to chat. Parking easy. Essy walking to the old town. Loved the people here and the property. "
"10/10 property in Mostar with an incredible swimming pool, gym and sauna. There is a jacuzzi and children’s splash pool as well. Plenty of ‘ sun’ beds and tables and chairs in the indoor pool areaThe view from the window towards old town was amazing.
The train station and both bus stations are less than 20 minutes walk. Old town was a pleasant 15-20 walk away.
The staff were all amazing and very responsive to any requests.
The hotel has a mall below it which has a cinema with movies in English.
The Mepas is a firm favourite of mine!"
"Staff is fantastic as is the location! So many food options, so many great shops! They let us drop off our bags hours before check in and when we returned, the bags were in our beautifully air conditioned room waiting for us. Early the next morning, they helped us call a cab to get to the bus station (fyi, Uber is not a thing in Bosnia). Beds were clean and comfortable and equipped with a proper blanket instead of the usual sheets that we’ve found almost everywhere else we’ve stayed in the Balkans. Cannot say enough good things about Villa Deny! Would absolutely stay again!"
"The apartment we took was a studio, with river views, the apartment didn't disappoint, great views immaculately clean and tidy, the apartment had all facilities including fridge, cooker, and all the plates, and all other necessities, to make your stay great. There is free parking and WiFi which is perfect as phone usage in BIH is limited. Just 10 minutes from the old bridge walking distance to the bakery and supermarket you couldn't wish for anymore. There is a shared terrace which is perfect to meet with the other guests "
"Great last minute stay at Hotel Sinan Han. We booked last minute the night before, which we lucked out on during the summer months! The original room we booked was sold directly through the hotel & the only option was the two-room suite, which was fine for the two of us. The bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, & the staff was so kind!! Parking can be tricky, especially on a more cloudy day, but it is in such a great location near old town, the bridge, & so many bars and restaurants. "
"Very kind, helpful and accommodating hosts. Assisted with parking (which is tricky in Mostar). Room was clean and in good condition. Very central location."
