Didnt like that you couldnt use the lobby it was closed. You had to use a little window under the stairs. Staff was very sweet and friend!

Easy I-5 access but locked down lobby was inconvenient, no breakfast etc. Biggest reason for poor review is that there was no secure Internet available. Staff shrugged this off like no big deal.

The lady at the front desk was awesome! However, they had to switch my rooms 3 times before we found one with an ac that worked. Which is fine, stuff happens no biggie. But while in the room we came across multiple cockroaches. I do not do bugs! So I didn’t sleep well at all. Overall the stay was very disappointing

Tired, cold and pissed off.
$100 room deposit that they hold for 3-5 days after I check out was not expected. Unfriendly check in clerk, no blanket on the bed, could take a shower because pull up tab on spout pulled out when I pulled up on it. No satisfaction from front desk. Never asked for one before, but I really think I should have my money back on this poor excuse for a room. Can’t believe Howard Johnson would put their name on the sign in front of this place. Tired cold and pissed off

Non smoking room smelled of cigarettes so bad I called front desk was told no other rooms were available but house keeping can put some powder on the carpet in the morning. The carpet was so dirty I didn’t want to take my shoes off. The bed sheets had holes and bed cover had stains. I have stayed in 3 different hotels in the past 3 months in different cities and this is the dirtiest place I have been to. There were roaches in the rest room when I got up at night to use it. I only use the room to sleep in at night I sell vintage goods so during the day I’m at the vintage show, this was the first time I left my luggage in my trailer because I did not want roaches to get into my things. I can go on and on but why. I just need a place to lay my head at night I do not make a lot of money at these shows and can’t afford to lose my money since there is no refund after you pay. The property has a long check list of fines they make you sign 250.00 for smoking 250.00 for stains on towels bed linens ect. Maybe they can examine the rooms because all those things on the do not do list were done in the room prior to my stay.

Lobby doors are locked and you have to check in thru a small window under the stairs around a dark corner thru a small slot. No pool open, no breakfast, no Wi-Fi working, no heat/ac working, took 3 keys to open our door and the knob is upside down. They charge your credit card a $100 deposit for a list of items you have to initial at check in - one being don't dirty the linens or towels! Refund in 7-14 days. I'll be watching for it!
