Good hotel but major communication flaws if needed
This is hard to evaluate. The positive - convenient location for me, clean, spacious, all the necessary equipment. The not so great - which is not the necessarily the fault of the hotel - there was a party from other guests until 2 in the morning. It shouldn't be up to other guests to remind others about quiet hours and how to behave in hotels. This is accelerate by the shockingly bad automated check-in experience - no person, just a computer and the stepped process was not clear and faulty. No person to ask question and if you have multiple people checking in it takes ages. Furthermore, you only have a phone number to call when you have problems with other guests. In my case they triggered a fire alarm and had a party. This could easily be avoided with having staff on site. I don't like to give this hotel a bad review as it is a good place to stay. But this lack of personal and noise is a downer.

This property was really good. It has a really easy check in process and the staff are very friendly and was very understanding of us barely knowing English. I wish I could stay longer and I know the next time I stay in Madrid, it will be at this apartment hotel again. Very close to the nearest metro station and very close convenience stores that stay open late. Be prepared to buy your own seasonings and food but very spacious and very accommodating! 10/10

Cancelled my reservation and charged me double
The apartment was very spacious but still laid out very strangely. If you have the closet door open near the bathroom you can't open and close the hallway door. Not a big deal just really stupid. I found myself shaking me head at a lot of the ways the hotel is setup. I went to bed the first night and I looked down and saw several peanuts lying on the ground. Luckily I'm not allergic. The bathrooms were mostly clean but it looked like the only toiletterie was the automatic soap dispenser and the wrapped bar of handsoap. I eventually found a sponge looking thing wrapped the same way the handsoap was but it was laying in a random closet. The bidet did NOT look clean and I was appalled that they would leave something like that unclean. I took a tissue to see if it was a stain or rust and immediately regretted my decision. Repulsive. The worst part, and the reason I am even leaving a review, is because I made two bookings; I accidentally made a booking for one night instead of three. Hotels.com just told me to book two more nights and let the hotel know. Cool. They decided to cancel the second reservation completely but still respected the first booking. However they increased the room rates. I ended up being charged double the price for the 2nd and 3rd night even though I booked in advance. What a sleazy place.
