Not friendly to Expedia customers... the hotel director give attitude to the staff in front of customers, not cool at all
amazing place- very clean, very spacious, everything we needed and more- wish we could have stayed longer!!! excellent restaurants right outside the door
The room was perfect. Very clean, spacious and had a kitchen with plates with cutlery. The view was great too. The staff was really nice. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. I would highly recommend it.
Amazing location, near to everything in the city centre and a block from the pedestrian bridge to vieux Lyon. The kitchenette was a huge plus and we could get what we needed direct from vendors at the market by the river just 3 minutes away! Huge variety of restaurants nearby. Couldn't be better!!!!!
Excellent location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean. Only complain is that bed sheets are a bit hard and rough. Overall very happy with our stay.
The hotel was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The only issue was that the room was facing the bars and it was very noisy until after midnight.
When we arrived the staff was not very friendly, put a negative start to our vacation. During check in - according to the them what we reserved was a room without air conditioning, REALLY!!! had to pay for an upgrade, an expense we were not expecting. Not sure if it is standard in Europe for hotels not to have air conditioning, but items like that should be clearly indicated on Expedia.
Only half the apartments have air conditioning. Confirm with the hotel that you have air if you are visiting in the summer months. The fans provided were not adequate. We were unable to change rooms the first night and it was impossible to sleep. Nowhere on the add was this mentioned.
Great location but need ac. Needed to leave the window open due to no ac but the street below can be loud
Its safe, convenient location is perfect, in the midst of the historic district where tourists can walk to many sites and have dozens of good shops, restaurants, and cafes at hand. It's also great for researchers and business people, who have easy access to the whole city. Despite its central, lively location the hotel is completely quiet--no street noise despite many restaurant and cafe terraces nearby, frequented mostly by young people. Breakfast is the only meal served in-house, and the rooms aren't serviced unless you ask, presumably because it's an "apart-hotel" where guests are expected to fend for themselves. My only reservation is that the first room I booked, a deluxe one where I stayed for 3 nights, had a very hard, tufted mattress. I left Lyon and came back a few days later to a standard room with a much more comfortable bed. There was almost no difference between the standard and deluxe rooms except that the latter looked onto a drab city courtyard rather than the street, and had a Nespresso-style coffee maker (with only two non-brand-name coffee capsules supplied) rather than a standard coffee maker and no coffee at all. The hotel's self-service laundry is clean and practical. Between stays in Lyon (I was away for only 3 days), I was able to leave my large, heavy suitcase in the hotel storage locker free of charge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd gladly stay here again.
