Amazing check-in experience - made even more impressive when I found out I’d arrived during ‘chocolate hour’ and was handed a freshly made bowl of delicious speciality chocolates. I was celebrating my birthday and upon noticing the date from my passport, the kind lady at reception gave me a wonderful room on floor 14 - the views out the water and city beyond were breathtaking, especially at night. The room was comfortable, the bed and bedding were so so nice and cosy. Breakfast was beautifully served and there is so much to choose from!! Freshly made custom omelette and eggs. So so many delicious drinks, all tastes catered for. Loved the health juices and shots !! I requested an extension of checkout for an hour and this was handled wonderfully - checkout was quick and simple. Again on checkout, very friendly efficient team. They handed me a birthday gift when I checked out, which again was far beyond anything expected, but so thoughtful and kind. This hotel made a good trip truly magical. I came to Amsterdam for a few days solo as a treat for me birthday, I’ve been coming to this city for over 20 years now. What I ended up with was a truly unforgettable experience; all thanks to the entire team at the Movenpick hotel. You have such a lovely team; for them to constantly go the extra mile for clients is something that truly made my visit to the city a time I will never forget. Although it’s a short ten minute walk from the city, it’s absolutely worth it. Thankyou

Excellent service. There was an issue with the washroom which was resolved promptly. Hotel and rooms were great (clean and spacious) with amazing views. Breakfast could have some variety but was good nonetheless. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
