The Hotel is absolutely adorable. The furnishings, the live music out front, the Restaurant and Bar connected and the location are Perfect! Sky, at the Bar can make one of the BEST Mexican Martini's i have had, ask for the Blue Cheese Olives in it. My only complaint was the Elevator was NOT in service. Made it difficult for my mother who has had 2 knee surgeries a bit hard. But other than that, we loved it and would stay again.

Wow, what an extremely pristine and gorgeous hotel. We’ve lived in new Braunfels for over 20 years moved away came back. Thought we’d stay at the Faust for the first time. Loved it we’ll be back again. Restaurant bar outside sitting area a band playing or sing at least walking distance to the downtown area comfortable beds, friendly staff valet parking on premises parking down the street free parking. It was great. We loved it.

We loved our stay at the Faust. The hotel is well designed with rich colors, velvet fabrics, whimiscal rugs and beautiful art pieces throughout the property. The public spaces--the bar, terrace on side and the front--are inviting. The rooms are elegant, comfortable beds, large bathroom with the necessary amenities (plenty of towels, hair dryer, good smelling body wash, lotion and shampoo/conditioner. It's a historic hotel that has been renovated and has kept some of the history intact like the telephone booth in the lobby and other things for you to discover. Location is good, right in the downtown. You can walk to hotels, shopping or river rafting. For us, there is no other hotel to stay in New Braunfels but the Faust.

Beautifully decorated. Nice and cool rooms. Spacious design. The bathrooms were excellent and water nice and hot. The only disappointments were there wasn’t an iron and no breakfast was served. However there was a wonderful cafe near by. Just a 6 min walk. It made the trip well rounded. I will most definitely tell my friends and family and will stay again! Lovely staff! Made my husband and I wedding anniversary a very relaxing and stress free experience.

The junior suite was wonderful. The furnishings were lovely. The bed was so comfortable. I am a Nespresso enthusiast so i was very delighted to see this in the room with real coffee cups to boot! The hairdryer with accessories was a nice bonus as well. The hotel is very nicely situated so we were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to enjoy. Now, and i hate to be negative because we enjoyed our stay....the room was warm. Its Texas in the summer, that AC needs to be pumping. I alwas bring a travel fan but that was not too much help. Also, there was a faulty outlet that tripped a couple of times. The staff was there immediately to help remedy this and they were aware of the problem and very apologetic but it was an inconvenience. They are working on replacing it. And lastly, we went to the bar to eat and I dont know if there was an incident before we arrived but the bar staff was not pleasant. There were negative conversations happening and there were more than a few patrons seated at the bar. If there are issues this needs to be taken away from patrons. Overall, I would book again. We enjoyed the hotel, we would avoid the bar next time.
