The bathroom doors are supposed to slide on a runner, but are off the tracks, so every time anyone in any room nearby slides the bathroom door open or closed, everyone can hear it and it sounds like a freight train rumbling through. Location is great for downtown activities, and has the hum of normal city noises.

Needs a little to be a lot more...
The pillows were hard. There were no vending machines. Thankfully there was a Subway just a couple door fronts away. Other than that the room was beautiful everything was clean. I enjoyed my very short stay.

Downtown LA
I really wanted to like my stay here. Staff was very friendly, location was great for a conference at the LA Convention Center (10-15 min walk) and the breakfast was nice. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. The only problem is that there is a club nearby that had loud bass music going until 2AM every night I was there (Thur-Sat). Unfortunately, ear plugs only work so well for this type of sound. With my conference starting at 7 am each day, my sleep was extremely poor. It would have been nice to know about the music issue before hand; I likely would have picked a different location. Also this is part of LA can be rough, heard a fight outside one night and gunshot the next. Ugh... However, during the day no issues.
