I would say 4.5 stars. This resort is very nice, and in particular is a great place for families with children. We had a room with partial ocean view, also overlooking the pool and grounds. The grounds of this hotel are extremely nice and in particular, far nicer than those of its immediate neighbors (a Wyndham and a Sheraton). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and there were a lot of activities to take advantage of, if you wanted to. Our only caveat was that, compared to other, comparable resorts where we have stayed (in, for example, North America and Europe), the food was average at best. (We don't know how it compares to other properties in Fiji.)

Great spot in Denerau
Our 2nd time at Radisson Blu, some great updates and additional dining options since our last visit 5 years ago. Still renovations ongoing, which has left a few dining spots closed or relocated but the Lebanese restaurant is great and breakfast very good. We stay here due to the modern touches along with the adults only areas.

Ask if they’re renovating before your stay…
No bathplug, had to wait over an hour for one as unfortunately understaffed. We had particularly asked for a large bath and a king bed when booking so this was disappointing. Also undergoing very loud renos in the main check in foyer and bar area which wasn’t mentioned at any time prior to our arrival… Found that the rooms were not particularly soundproof as someone above our room was stomping about until all hours causing us a very disturbed sleep, we had to leave very early for flights. Would like to give the benefit of the doubt and perhaps stay again but unlikely at this stage.

Lovely stay with vegan friendly options
My fiancé and I stayed at the Raddison for the last few nights of our trip to Fiji. It was lovely. It was my birthday and my partner had been in contact with the chef to arrange a dinner as I’m vegan. They really went above and beyond with this dinner and made it very special. There were plenty of meal options at breakfast (even dairy free milk!) and at the restaurants for dinner being vegan and they were willing to cater changes if needed. The facilities were clean and nice. The only down side was there wasn’t much beach access but the pool were nice and big with lots of lounges. Drinks and snacks were also a little pricy but to be expected in a resort Would definitely recommend

Not what I expected
My day went well, but the room was not what I expected, especially for the price that I paid. It was supposed to be a two bedroom suite that looked out onto the ocean or garden, but instead it was a just an adjoining room and one room overlook the pool. It was nothing like what was posted on the Radisson Blu website, which was the main reason why I chose the room. There was also so much loud construction going on in the daytime in the main lobby that we couldn’t sit and enjoy it while waiting on our ride share car. My family and I felt cheated and therefore, will not be staying at this particular hotel the next time we are in Fiji in July 2025.

We stayed 4 nights there and most of the time we felt pretty good. The room was very big and clean, staff were friendly and we enjoyed the facilities and food as well. However one thing happened and made me feel very frustrated. We lost the phone during a day tour booked by the hotel. Since we had to leave next day early morning. We asked the security team to help follow up with the police. I tried to contact them a couple of times in coming weeks but got no response at all. Finally I rang them on 02Jan then the staff helped enter the report with police. But It was too late to search the phone as we lost it a week ago…

Lovely resort, friendly staff, great pool/pool bar, modern rooms and well looked after. Variety and quality of restaurants is excellent. Pro or con depending on your situation - very much a family resort and loads of kids. Well entertained and loud kids with many activities. Probably better outside Australia/New Zealand school holidays. Con - half seating of breakfast is outdoors. During bad weather the outdoor seats cannot be used. This results in half hour queues to get a table inside. Inside area becomes very full and hectic. Breakfast is of a high standard however, including free flow champagne. Tip - Mamacita mexican restaurant is a short walk next door (at front of Club Wynhdam) is a fun casual alternative for a meal. Tip - Sails at Port Denaru is pricey but superb seafood. Get the Bula bus, tickets in the Radisson convenience store
