We stayed 4 days. 3 nights at the resort. The pictures show a full kitchen for a junior suite which is a lie. The hotel had to upgrade my room to a 2 bedroom because I bought hundreds of dollars of groceries to feed my family because I thought I booked a suite with a kitchen. It was inconvenient for my family to have to check out at 11am from one room and check back in to the upgraded room. Thank you Joselyn for honoring the upgrade. Hotels.com you should make sure your pictures are accurate on your site that shows exactly what the amenities are for each room.

My husband and I booked a short trip to Pensacola to celebrate our anniversary. Even though this hotel is one of the higher priced options in the area, I booked it because we wanted to take advantage of all the amenities and not leave the property. We were very disappointed. The hotel is outdated, in need of maintenance and a makeover. The room smelled like mildew and the staff could use some hospitality training. Even the food was subpar and overpriced. We ended up eating offsite for half the price and much better quality. Being beachfront property is the best thing about this place, but they certainly make you overpay for it.

Will not be back!

From the get-go things started off rough…we tried to call several times on the way to the hotel as we were arriving earlier than check-in. We were hoping to be able to check-in early. However, after a few calls to to local number (which redirect to a call center) and a call to the hotels.com number, we were unable to get anyone to answer the phones at the hotel. We even tried from our room, and no one answered from there either!! When we got to the hotel, we expressed our frustration, but the lady at the desk had zero concern or apology. She just said to come back at check-in time. No biggie, but a little compassion would have been nice. At check in everything seemed very frantic in the lobby. Employees running every direction, staff needing assistance with each check-in, and a very slow process. The doors never shut, so it was very hot and humid in the lobby. After check-in we were greeted by a very friendly bellhop who was one of the lights of our stay! He was so helpful getting our stuff to the room, and gave us his number in case we needed anything. We reached out several times with questions for suggestions about dinner, music, entertainment, etc. Be sure to tip your bellhop!! Our room was tidy and smelled clean, but the hotel itself was filthy and felt very under kept! There was a huge stack of room service trays by the elevator for over 24 hours until we told he front desk. Luke’s of towels all over the pool deck, dirty drink cups around the fire pit…

Might as well be an employee

This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. First, they put us in a room where the phones did not work, then they moved us to an upgraded room where the phones worked but nobody ever answered. The one time someone answered, they never brought the toothbrush I requested, and told me I had to come down to retrieve laundry detergent. We were on the 14th floor. How relaxing to have to go to the front desk every time you need something on vacation! I might as well have been an employee!

Great check in View from room great. Lotion in bathroom barely hanging. Deep scratch bathroom door. My floors ice machine not working Service at salt was great. My flatbread was great. Ran Away From Home

Casey in room service was fabulous. We treated ourselves to room service while we were there and he was nice .. helpful .. and always made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Jonathan at the concierge was fabulous too.

I had to miss a dinner reservation due to the hotel not being ready at the “guaranteed” check-in time of 4pm. The staff could not give me an estimated time of when the room would be ready. It was nearly an hour late. The room was nice and view was great. However, I had a balcony room and the guests in a room around us was smoking weed which made my room and the hallway smell terrible. The no smoking policy was not strictly enforced at all. But I guess that only means cigarettes.
