Nov 29, 2025The room was fine and clean and very quiet, bed and duvet were very comfortable, lovely hot shower. Unfortunately not the weather for the pool, but it looked lovely. James was a great hot and made us a great breakfast each day.

May 30, 2026My wife and I (seniors) spent four nights at the Sunset in May and really enjoyed the place. First, the location is great. It's on a main bus route and easy to get to the harbor ferries and buses. Second, it's a nice quiet neighborhood. Third, it's within walking distance of some lovely neighborhood restaurants. Fourth, James, the manager wows everyone with the homemade breakfasts! He's also eager to help answer questions and assist travelers. We would definitely return to the Sunset Lodge.
