A delightful trip to Haarlem
It seems petty to mention the stairs when everything else was so good but they are an interesting challenge for the not so young. However Ann Marie and Henk cheerfully helped with my luggage which was much appreciated.

Absolutely stellar
Hotel Malts was an exceptional stay. Professionally run with sweet touches that made us feel welcome from the first moment. Answered all of our questions kindly and gave helpful information, gave us tea, coffee, fresh oj and pastries galore. The rooms are outstanding! Floor to ceiling windows, well appointed WC’s. Step out the door and you are basically on the main square. Because of this hotel, Haarlem was the favorite stop of our 3 week trip in Europe.

Hotel Malts and the proprietors are absolutely charming. I came to the area for work and found it easy to manage, beautiful and clean. We were able to walk easily for great food, shopping and sights. Henk & Annemarie were the most amazing hosts to their quaint and cozy B&B. I researched many different places to stay initially decided on a large hotel and was lucky enough to find this amazing place. We rented the room with the large terrace which I highly recommend. It is room number three. Every day they had a homemade breakfast with fresh squeezed juice as well as other amenities. We will definitely come back here as well as recommend it to our friends and family. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Great B&B, feels like home, in the center of town
I loved this B&B. I was greeted and given a very nice coffee and a comprehensive map of the town. The highlights of the map were reviewed in detail. I was unable to attain a reservation for dinner so Henk and Annemarie also helped me secure a reservation. Breakfast was divine. There was an honor bar. My room was very comfortable. There really is no place else to stay in Haarlem
