Jun 14, 2026There are hotels that offer beautiful rooms, and there are hotels that offer excellent service. The Jing is one of the rare places that manages to do both.
The location in North Bali offered exactly what we were looking for: peace, privacy and a side of Bali that feels increasingly difficult to find.
From the moment we arrived, we felt less like customers and more like guests. With only a handful of rooms, everything feels personal, peaceful and carefully considered.
Our suite was spacious, beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying our morning coffee on the terrace quickly became one of our favourite moments of the day.
What truly sets The Jing apart is the hospitality. Will, Vera and their team seem to anticipate what you need before you even ask. Every detail was handled with genuine care and attention.
The food deserves special mention. Breakfasts were excellent, afternoon tea was a delight, and dinner was served in beautiful and romantic locations around the estate.
We have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, but very few have left such a lasting impression. What we will remember most is not the architecture, the gardens or even the excellent food, but the feeling of being genuinely cared for.
We arrived as guests and left feeling as though we were saying goodbye to friends.
